I'd have to agree with you on that: I was merely quoting that to answer what album this was from.
But yes, it definately is noticable as 'new' ash: less prominent base and less close harmony singing: still a very good song with good guitar work, but different.
@fezzappa As great an album as Argus was WA has an extensive body of work that has evolved into what it is now. What is new Ash? I for one appreciate that this band has survived in its various forms for so many years, and as much as I love Martin Turner's work I believe Andy's approach of moving forward is the reason for their longevity. Long live Wishbone Ash!
@chefredog ....i like this song a lot - and basically i agree with what you said- i have stuff from many 'versions' of ash-..not sure if they will ever top some of the older tunes though....again,i like what they are now,i saw them in march and they were great- but 99% old stuff,which is because andy knows why everyone is there....they did play driving a wedge....
