I never played KOTOR since I don't believe (usually) in playing any game that copies are movie, since they're usually crap and you already know the story, but I think I really fecked up and missed one of the best RPGs of all time. It's too late now as the game would disappoint due to old technology. Can I play SW:The Force Unleashed 2 without playing the games before or would I miss too much story? Is it worth playing the Force 1 still or is it too dated already?

@Zalman1337 That's an excellent point but I still find if the animation is so bad that people in it look like smudged pixels or whatnot then I just can't get into it. For example, I tried playing Morrowind at one point and just couldn't do it until I modded it heavily. Then it was quite fun, so much so that I spent 6 whole months of my life playing Morrowind (because there are so many excellent quest mods that I never ran out of content). In the end I had to stop without finishing the main plot
