@lionsforlyons You mean (U-235)-(U-235) fusion? The Coloumb barrier between the two nuclei would make this highly inefficient. Not to mention that unless a neutron hits into one of the U-235 atoms, nothing would happen. Actually, such a fusion hasn't been tried yet, I don't believe. They could be doing it at the LHC, but I'm not sure.
