I was being serious about the racist comment. Thats why the "Rock against racism" was set up, because EC made a speech in a gig in Birmingham in 1976 that was so racist it started the whole movement against racism. Maby you should do your research
i was there, right at the front! i got loads of good quality video from this but i cant get it up on youtube. any ideas how to do it? ive been uploading one song for 6 hours now! and as for the comment about EC being racist! do your research! he has been influenced by many black artists and is very good friends with many too, i seriously doubt he could ever be called a racist! amazing concert, great playing, and a night to remember for ever.
My family and I saw him at Hyde Park the night before, I just wish I could have called in at Harewood on the way back up the A1 on Sunday. No such thing as too much Clapton! I'm hoping to have some video of the Hard Rock gig calling on here by the end of the week.
i also recorded wonderful tonight, but the sound quality on my video is much worse, however i was near the front so the video was abit better, maybe we could swap and make a video with good video and sound some how?
superb live rendition..... Im not an avid Eric Fan but boy am i glad i went to this one. superb. The drummer was mind blowing. i could watch him all night .....
Thanks Eric ill add you to my " ive seen....." notches.
I was there too. His playing has to be seen to be believed. The whole set was tremendous. He is playing the best he has for many years. A truly magic night and a great band of musicians.
