What amazing little fingers you have! And you're playing this piece very very evenly too which so many grownup pianists don't do. I even like your speed. Most people play this WAY too fast. When your hands grow a bit, you can speed up. But not too much. It's very nice the way it is now.
Obviously that's not 'prestissimo' but you play with great evenness. Really well done. Just work on the speed, you've done the tricky part! So many people worry about the speed, but it is evenness in this that is important. Way to go!

And yes, he may be playing it slow, but what really matters is that he has good timing, rhythm, and hits all the right notes. Once you have that, THEN you can speed it up.
It's not too slow. What matters is the fact that all the timing is correct, and the notes are right, and hand position. You can always speed it up later.
i am going to attempt to learn this piece in 5 days for a talent show. I am grade 5 and this a grade 6 piece so it will be difficult. But still no harm in trying.

I love this. Most play it MUCH too fast. CPEB marked it "Allegro"; all the "Prestissimo" markings are editorial.
