Im looking to install windows server 2008 my ML350 g2/g3 , do you know if it is compatible with the HP Software :s or any suggestions.

Nice drive array - I've only got 2 drives in a Raid 1+0 setup with a third on the way for single drive config for OS. My G4 sounds like a jet plane during power up then is quiet after POST completes. I'm adding an internal SCSI tape backup to the host SCSI 0 bus soon as well. eBay is great for pimpin these servers.

If you load the correct operating system drivers, those fans will stop spinning at high speed and self regulate.

I have one under my desk and it's only that loud on startup for a few seconds.

i have a compaq proliant with 2 xeons @ 2.8ghz with 4gb of ecc ddr ram 2 psu's 8 loud ass fans. 1 sony ait5 backup with 500gb cassetes 1 scsi 15000rpm drive im veeeeery happy and i got it free11!!!!!!!XDXDXD
