Pontiac SilverDome (Detroit) was WM 3, dumdum. They were always going to have WM VII (WM 7) in LA, but they had to move it out of the bigger arena due to fears of death threats to Slaughter because of the character he was portraying. @greatestgoalie25 actually according to bleacher report wrestlemania 7 actually didn't sell enough tickets to fill the collesium so to avoid a complete bomb of a wrestlemania they moved it to the adjacent arena and came up with a reason on why they moved the event

@hou12396: Bleacher Report articles aren't as reliable a source as WWE itself...they mentioned it again on the True Story of Wrestlemania how Vince wanted to go bigger, but the death threats on Slaughter and his family was the biggest factor in why they moved it to the smaller venue. Vince and Sgt. Slaughter were interviewed and said this themselves on the DVD. Ticket sales bombing was secondary, if it at all was a factor.

If you read "Hollywood Hulk Hogan" his biography, it well really explain how things go on the ring, the whole thing is staged, and they know who wins the match, planned out, and confirmed by McMahon (whether be it McMahon,Eric Bischoff, or McMahon Sr. he wrestled for)if you dont believe me, look for his book in the library, or buy it from a chapters/Indigo nearby (Thats what I did)
