The people who stupidly risked their lives in the abortive, CIA-sponsored "green revolution" coup d'etat were largely dupes. Also, a large contingent were the spoiled, rich elitists of north Tehran, who thought they'd do well under a US-UK puppet regime. Neda Agha-Soltan probably wasn't an agent of Anglo-American imperialism, but Mousavi definitely was and is.

There's nothing good to say about Ahmadinejad, just much worse things to say about the US-UK sponsored opposition.

I think it's highly unlikely that Mousavi works for the US government but even if he does, his role in the protests was not significant. He was just the alternative to Ahmadinejad, it could have been anyone in his place.

The protesters had very legitimate reasons to oppose the Iranian theocracy and it's ignorant and insulting to call them "dupes". They were extremely courageous people, probably more courageous than any other people on earth. These people don't want Mousavi, they want democracy.
