  • Good Job Nateboy2 :-)

  • NATEBOY2 GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!

  • IMO this is better than the other version.

  • @myfajahas400children

John thought the same thing. The only reason they did the faster version is that Paul thought is would sell better. They agree to release the faster one and save this one for the album. BTW the same thing happened with HELP! The orig was slow and sad - kind of like You've got hide your love away. (in fact there is a vid of Paul performing at a concert on u2b the way that John wrote it.) Luv to all Beatles and fans.

    AMAZING JOB!!! DAYS, yes?

  • love the lyrics especially in the bridge parts

  • Qué orejas más bonitas tenía Paul y que cara de simplón. Aunque era y es un gran músico.

  • that word, 'IN," might have been the destruction of John...the bullets.....from some govt. agency..u think Hoover would dig this song!?

  • sounds so seductive ;)

  • Beautiful song :)

  • 3:26 and 3:49 PURE SEX.

  • Very cool. Thanks for your creativity and sharing. Got more in mind?

  • Very cool idea with your edit.

With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

  • A variation I once heard:

"If you go around carrying pictures of Deng Xao Ping,

You're not gonna get any help with anything."

  • NICE!

  • I like this version best. :D

  • I love this....awesome edititing! :) I love the rockier version, but this one is very cool too.

  • spectacular editing job! Great work! I'm impressed!

  • Nateboy you did a great job .....I think its great.

  • Brilliantly done...thanks :-)

  • No I was not trying to correct you. It was John's lucky and favorite number his whole life. If you read the reply by countryandpivot you wil see that it was even on a firetruck that his granfather gave him, probably helping to encourage his fantasy witht he number nine. He was born on the 9th, appared on Ed sulliven (beatles debut) on the 9th, so the idea of apple studios number 9 being the reason would have to be false. Many people's favorite number is their birthdate anyway. Mine is.

  • The video is slow down or are they actually playing in a slow way?

I mean the VIDEO not the music

  • Comment removed

  • What model Gibson does George play this on?

  • @Kataanger4eva Les Paul duh :D

  • HOT VERY HOT

  • It was named Revolution # 9 because they were in studio nine of the recording studio.

  • @PicassoStar1 I do not beleive it is actually called revolution 9, matter of fact I know i's not. Only on some youtube videos it is called that; however, the only song that was published by lennon that had a 9 in the title was dream #9.

  • @jason13204 Thanks...I stand corrected :-) But let me ask you: Didn't the number "Nine"in Revolution # 9 originate from the fact that they were recording in studio number nine? Do you think that is true? Let me know when you get change - Thanks - Ron

  • nice, I did not know that. He has an awsome biography out if you like to know. Very very intersting. Philip Norman is the author. It anwsers a lot of questions people argue about but don't know. Peace.

  • Can i ask a question?

What in the hell is revolution9?

Ive looked at it and it makes less sence then i am the walrus.

And let me tell you, that is not easy to do.

  • @countryandpivot number nine was john's lucky number. There were several songs he wanted to call number nine.

  • @jason13204 i did know that it was on a firetruck that john got before is granddad died.

  • @countryandpivot "I am the eggman goo goo gjoob!," famous line by humpty dumpty.

  • @jason13204 well not the eggman part but he did say goo goo g'joob before he fell.

  • SEDUCTIVE AS HELL.

  • right now, 13 people:

    Talk about destruction,

want money for people with minds that hate,

say they'll change the constitution, and

go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao.

    (no offense to those 13)

  • This Video Rules! GREAT JOB!!!!!

  • Number 1

    Number 1

    Number 1

    Number 1

  • 2 people need a revolution

  • You did an excellent job!!!

  • BRAVO!!! Well done and no easy task! Definitely a favorite...

  • You did a really awesome job on this dude, I know how syncing music and videos together can be and I give you props for pullin this off.

  • woooow!! This video is perfectly done!!! Congratulations!! I put it on my favourites!!

  • Well, its not too rare anymore ;)

  • haha what's with the evil look on John Lennon's face at the end?

  • I like this version of this song much better than the other version

  • Great video! What its all about!

  • I wouldjust like to say good job on editing I know you worked hard on it is great thank you from all the Beatles fans out there

  • Right on, John! We need a One- World, democratically-elected Government, for The People. And share the entire World's wealth and resources for everyone. No need for wars, anymore. Or poverty. Time is running out.

  • extremely well done video!

  • I fricking love this song! I've probably listened to it like a billion times within the past day!

  • This song is amazing fast and slow, incredible band <3

  • fantastic editing : )

  • nice editing. this song has so many great versions and to take two different audio and video tracks and mix them must have been extremely difficult.

  • Thank you Great !!!

  • my favorite beatles song PERIOD

  • best veriosn!!!!!! i learned this one then the faster 1

  • Very well done. Thank you for posting

  • "You say you'll change the Constitution - Well, you know - We all want to change your head - You tell me it's the institution - Well, you know - You better free you mind instead - But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao - You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow" - You hear that Obama...

  • @RJosephReece Yes, your President hears that, and he's telling you the same thing John Lennon would tell you: "Yer a swine." Barack Obama and the Beatles will be treasured long after their idiot critics are rightfully forgotten.

  • The Beatles, IMHO, will never, ever get old. Their message is timeless and their music is classic.

  • CHANT DOWN BABYLON!!!!!!!

  • i love the beatles <3

  • @MrAndrewjs

I know hey it is absolutley horrible what we ae stuck with probably 80% of my iPod is oldies and my radio is on a station that plays the oldies. And it keeps getting worse there is no improvement whatsoever (with an exception of a few artist) I meen they often can't play an instrument wich is really stupid I really wish we could get a group like the beatles for our generation

Kids of today living in the music of yesterday

  • Total respect for the effort here. Great job fella.

  • "U" say u wanta arevolution well you know eeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Nateboy, you did a brilliant job of slowing the original down, and covering your edits with other shots. I've been in professional film and tv production for 25 years, and you did one fine job, sir. Good on ya!

  • @sounddude51 Agreed!

  • I miss the horns in the faster version.

  • Brilliant!

  • God I hate being a youth of today; all i've got to listen to is that modern trash; I mean The Beatles who the best musians ever or crap like justine beiber or whatever her name is...honestly, I just dont get the appeal......

  • many of those 99,526 views were me returning to see if this video was still up.

I'm fed up with the idea that Sony claims to own every song and sound bite in the universe.

Methinks this one survives because its original.

  • hahahahhahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I want to have you children. you are the bomb.

  • It's funny, because this video was originally for this version of the song. Then it was sped up for the more popular version, and now you've put it back to how it was originally. (you can tell because you can see Paul and George saying "shoo-be-doo-wop" into the mike, which is only in this version of the song)

  • @punxsutawneyphyllis they sing shoo-be-doo-wop in the faster version as well. just thought i'd point that out.

  • @cheesyfudge They do?

Guess this is what I get for listening to it on a noisy bus...

  • LMAO!!!!!! THE ENDING!!!! I love the Beatles they are the world

  • I love both recordings of this song. Rock & blues. LOL the Beatles.

  • incredible. If I didn't know any better,I'd swear this was Revolution1, the video. Awesome job.

  • I thought John was born with a guitar in hand? ...oh no, my mistake , it was ukulele (thankfully for his mother)

  • @zetetic0void

Wait... I thought it be a Banjo?

  • Great job

  • @BROWNYODA no that isnt true his aunt bought him his first guitar when he was a lot younger than sixteen (not sure when) i know this because i did a biography on john lennon foe school

  • @hahaguyproductions Actually his mother DID buy him his first guitar. His Aunt Mimi disapproved of him saying he was going to be famous. Her famous quote was: 'The guitar's all very well, John, but you'll never make a living out of it'

Lennon had that made onto a plaque for her when The Beatles had their first hit.

It's you who needs to check your facts. It is in the official John Lennon story film and is told on The Beatles tour in Liverpool, which I have been on.

  • @BR0WNY0DA ...Much younger than that.

  • @BR0WNY0DA i'm sure he was younger.

  • love it!!!! the lip sync is a bit off but other than that... love it!!!!!

  • Great job with the video:)

    Love this version

  • WHITE ALBUM ♥

  • George Says "John's Monitor is Shit"

  • @Twistedthief when does he say that?

  • @Twistedthief no its johns mic is shit

  • @Twistedthief HE SAYS JOHNS MIC IS SHIT

  • @Twistedthief WHERE!! I can't find it

  • @Twistedthief johns mic is shit

  • you're the bomb. this was excellent. If no one knew, they'd swear it's an original video. the kind of stuff i always wanted to do. Keep it up!

  • this is censored, you see the lips moving and don't hear what they are saying

  • I think George says something like : This warehouse smells like shit...But I haven't learned to read lips yet. Afew more years playing in a classic rock band and i may have to.

  • The guy re-synced the video (which is of a faster more electric version of the song) to this slower-beat audio track. That's why it looks like that. I assure you, the song is uncensored.

  • I'm a big beatles fan, and i hardly ever like any kind of unoriginal remakes, but this... This is great.

  • Alright.

  • @JackandYono

jhon lennon was trieng to say that we should make a quite revolution and not fight to stop the war since its an absourd/ he said chill out by meaning dont fight not sht up/ he was talking to the rubbels ( hippies) and not to the cowards

  • push the button @

    push the button

  • Has a nice Bluesy arpegio to it.

  • Thanks for posting. I've never heard that version.

  • on the white album.

  • great job dude!

  • fantastic.

  • I love this version more than the single version because it really gets what John was trying to say. The lyrics say "Chill out, it's gonna be alright" and here the music matches. In the single version, the music is fast and stimulating, which is not what Lennon intended. I see why he prefered this version.

  • HEY EVERYBODY READ THIS !!!!!!!!!! ITS NOT SPAM ITS ABOUT THIS SONG !!!!!! I FOUND THIS IN A NEWS WEB !!!!!!! At first glance, looking innocent of the legendary band The Beatles called rock pioneer since 1968, has released an album that has two tracks: "No Revolution. 1 "and" No Revolution. 9. It is these works ostensibly began subconsciously messages "production" audience ears.

  • what the hell did you say, exactly, JumpPlyta2323?

  • well i didnt copy all of it :P soz it said that those messages effects the mind like in one of Ozzy Osbournes songs there was a song with subliminal messages and 2 guys made suicide well sorry for bad english ;)

  • I like revolution more than revolution 1 :D

but the both got skills ofc ;)

  • Wonderful job syncing this up. Simply fantastic.

  • good work syncing this version with the video

  • good word slowing syncing this version with the video

  • Anyone else hearing future echoes of T.Rex in this song?

  • this song is awesome and that is finale!!!!!

    no more arguing

  • hoo's playing the sax at 1:09?

  • That's not a sax. It's a guitar with some effects on it.

  • or an organ

  • yeah i thought this was Revolution 4 from the White Album

  • Tre Cool! - Both version are good

  • No, you didn't make this, they made it. My dad has this slow version on a record..

  • Oh this is kindu like the mellowed down version of the Rock n' Roll version =)

  • no this was from the white album, the faster rock n roll version was a single

  • I think Nate is saying (correctly) that he edited the original VIDEO to fit the slower version of this song. The Beatles, in the original video shown here, sung the faster version of "Revolution" on the David Frost Show. It appears a lot on youtube. Check it out.

  • oh yeah i know that ive seem about a trillion times really cool u shud see later in the episode wen they perform hey jude

  • shut up.

  • i love this version.

  • very well done!! that must have been difficult to sync them up like that!!

  • this reminds me of driving down to north carolina in the early 90s when i was a little kid. it's from the white album isn't it?

  • yea

  • lol this is craaazee.

its gud tho. i dig it.

  • sweet song!!!

  • hey nice job, love this version

  • fantastic *_*

    but i prefer version 1

  • Great song, I prefer the fast version in all honesty though. But this is still a great song, it's a Beatles song so it has to be great=^D

    R.I.P. John & George

  • Great! Thanks for the upload

  • u didnt made it..... it was made in the same day this was made...in the 70's...

  • I like both this and version two

  • John sings peace and all some people on here just want to say their piece. Dopplegangers hide behind keyboards.

  • Epic, epic, epic. Well done. I do prefer this version of Reovlution - John did too, so it's all groovy.

  • i love this version..thanks for the upload!

  • nice

  • You did a great job editing this.

  • Nice Job. I like it. I always preferred this version to the faster one. I love the shoo be doo wop background. Great job.

  • It's pretty good, but I think hte faster version is better.

  • I'm gonna be the Devil's advocate here. I actually prefer this version. I can't put my finger on it, but it sounds right to me!

  • WORD.

  • I love it to!

  • Real one? This is what was on the album.

The single one is more popular though (the more brash one). I think this is better, but obviously they're both great (it's the Beatles for goodness sake! You don't get any shit other than Revolution 9).

  • revolution 1 sounds like a song one can experiment to (and i don't mean sexually, if you get my drift, brother)

    still awesome, though

  • rascall flats eats the shit of john lennon for breakfast and lunch and eat ringos shit for dinner. im 13 and love the beatles and the stones and the kinks

  • you're wrong. no country band of today is allowed any where near Bealtes poo. its too rich for them.

  • @Hodo1549 SAME HERE MAN..Beatles are going to and will always be the best band that has ever played music

  • I'm 12 years old and think The Beatles are the greatest band ever. It's just most of my generation that are twats, not all of us.

  • @Callum0312

your age doenst matter idiot, the only thing that matters is that the bealtes rule and it doenst make a difference if you lisn to it or some 70 year old wanker!!!!!!

  • Finally, someone with a brain comments on this video....jesus.

  • THIS SONG ROCKS. :p very FAB!

  • No one could ever compare to the beatles

no one is better than them

    NO ONE

  • I seriously hope you are kidding
