  • Speakin as a old white guy, I wish Mos Def was my boss.

  • most rappers start like Mos they start real few bitches and white guys later, U get Kanye west and Buff Daddy and 50 cent :D

  • INCREDIBLY GOOD!

  • please quit hatin on the last 15 yrs in rap/hip hop, if you dont like it dont listen to it. Sorry if generations change but people are starting to sound like there grandparents these days. If you have a problem do like old fans used to do before rap became what it was back then "SUPPORT YOUR ARTIST", and help them get more exposure. It is a business NOW you know. P.S. N.W.A. wasn't know hip hop bang bang boogie artist and that was over 20 years ago

  • I really like Mos Flow he raps like no other this is real hip hop

  • this song iz fucking awesome. cant stop listening to it :D

  • loved it on the Palm commercial, awesome beat!!

  • @ Belthazar31

Don Cheadle is in Oceans 11&12&13 not Mos Def, you're right in saying he was in The Italian Job though despite the orignal being so much better

  • Go TAP TAP!!!!!!!

  • TAP TAP REVENGE 3 SONG!!!

  • @ShootForFun824

yup! thats how i found it

  • @ShootForFun824 LOL

  • this song is the BEST.

  • Ecstatic was the best album in 2009

  • One of the best Tap Tap tracks ever! Check out the FC vid on my channel - plus another one (with arrows) being uploaded right now.

  • simmer down simmer down simmer down now....!

  • song got added on tap tap revenge mos def make good songs when he aint being gay on boondocks BURN!

  • woooot tap tap!!

  • Right maaaaan!

  • @CarryingNuclearCodes: yeah, how true. :)

  • I dont usually like all the "hip hop" tunes out there, but Mos Def really represent something more than all the "fuck you, I'm a gangster mo fo" bullshit being recorded for the last 15 years..

  • @CarryingNuclearCodes excuse me, i suggest u turn off your radio and listen to real hip-hop.

  • @ProphetVictory:

Well... you find good players within every game. -But who exactly did you have in mind?

  • true

  • @CarryingNuclearCodes that's like me saying that the last 10 years of rock and roll were teenagers crying over girlfriends and cutting their wrists.

  • @CarryingNuclearCodes - as someone said before, I highly recommend taking a closer look. what you hear on the radio is not hip hop my friend. and there is TONS of good hip hop out there, just as good, and some better than Mos Def....

  • @Dubulous111 Can you give some examples of "just as good" and "better" music than Mos Def?? I'd like to listen to real hip hop and I'm sure these artists deserve more recognition and a bigger fan base. Spread the love!!!!

  • @tmorrisdiaz I'd suggest Masta Ace Inc, Faithless (Mumammad Ali is absolutely brilliant), and the really well-known but also fantastic A Tribe Called Quest.

  • @CarryingNuclearCodes can't be a gangster saying mo fo :p caught u

  • @CarryingNuclearCodes you clearly need to listen to more hip-hop then

  • @CarryingNuclearCodes Fuck you nigga yu just dissed all the classics from the 90's and 00's

Old school rap > New school shit

  • @CarryingNuclearCodes Well just listen to undreground hip-hop and old school hip-hop

  • this song makes me want to roll my hips :)

  • this song makes me want to play basketball all day

  • Mos Def's music transcends barriers. I mean first of all, even though is is technically a hip hop track it can easily be remixed as a jungle, drum & bass or electronica dance track. His genre and style aren't even clear cut definable at times. That's how you know that he's a great artist.

  • this song just grows and grows on me, i'm loving it

  • @101missedcalls so does your mom but we don't judge

  • who's speaking at the start?

  • Fela Kuti!!!!

  • i love fela kuti.

do you listen to his stuff?

  • @ProphetVictory no I think that's Femi Kuti, the son of Fela Kuti.

  • This song is called Quiet Dog Bite Hard, right?

I'm assuming that's just a typo in the title.

  • Despite what the name of the song is, I am pretty sure it will be spread as "Quiet Dog" since that is what was said on Letterman (and on this title).

  • Mos Def received some publicity?

I didn't notice, since everyone is screaming "YAHH BITCH GUCCI MANE THIS SHIT GO HARD".

    *Sigh*. It's ridiculous.

  • I'm not sure if he pays for publicity of if they pay him, even so, the music is shit.

  • Quentin Tarantino could do an intense scene with this beat.

  • YOU FUCKING NAILED IT!

  • hell yes mf!!!1

  • amazing..

  • Whenever I get upset from all the fake ass artist out there that can't do nothing but repeat themselves or drop info that no one would possibly care about I'm glad that I've based

Mos Def as my artistic center of those still active...

    THIS IS RAP.................

  • ah my neck hurts from all that rockin

  • quiet dog bite hard MY GOD!

  • This is track a featured on last nights Fast Forward. Took me ages to find out who it was!

  • heard it on fast forward too, immediately knew who it was, ran to my laptop with my ipod in hand to get more info, and i already had the ecstatic on there :) i'm more awesome then i even know sometimes.

  • babies mamas gonna shake it

  • yo this song owns!

  • simmer down!!!!!!

  • ALLAH is the mos high Allah made mos def the mos DEF

  • many try to be def, but no one is the mos.

  • so excited for this album. been missin mos, glad hes doing some more music and not movies. not that his movies were especially bad, just his music is especially amazing

  • This track is okay. Can't say I'm feelin' it as much as the title track, The Ecstatic. That joint is CLASSIC Mos.

  • do you actually have an mp3 of that song???

  • I do. It's the live version. Great quality. Holla @ me wit an e-mail addy if you're interested.

  • just download free youtube to mp3 converter.. search for it in google. its much easier than dealing with these clowns that give you links with viruses and spyware in them.

  • aaah sik...fela kuti the afro beat maestro and the flawless veteran mos....

  • fela speaking at the beginning=sick

  • not alotta people would have known it was Fela!

  • mos bases "fear not of man" on fela's "fear not for man" too...pretty damn funky

  • @ProphetVictory You cannot mistake the voice! I ain't no Fela expert, and I had never heard that bit before, but I knew as soon as I heard it!

  • @ProphetVictory who is fela ?

  • I can't wait to get this album!! ♥
