These things are not cheap where I live - for a bike with no pedals, cranks, sprockets or chain, prices start at AU$400-odd, and go up from there.
I would buy one tomorrow if someone did one for under $200.

i don't know if the company's claim "it's not for everyone" is very commercial... Anyway, footbike is the most easy and democratic way (besides skating and cycling) to move across the city, by far!

This guy in Colorado is really trying to sell me on one of these, but I don't see this in NYC at all. It seems like a good target for theft.

It's funny; when I first taught myself how to ride a regular bicycle, this is what I was doing.
Maybe you should see if a bike made for that is actually a very good ride!
Some people in Russia rode nearly 1000 miles in the mountains in 10 days on a bikes like this.
I want to trade in my Schwinn mountain bike for one of these. :)
