I'm glad it's coming out for PS2. Heck I have ALL the SH games (accept Homecoming) for PS2 and SH1 I play on the PS2. That system just rocks and I love my collection for it.

Loading times in the original Silent Hill? Where the hell were the loading times? It took one or two seconds to get to the next area and those times never happened unless you entered a new location.

Define Next Gen. Because as far as I am aware the definition of 'Next Gen' isn't pertaining to graphic power but technological advance. The Wii is technically more 'Next Gen' than the Xbox360 and PS3 purely due to software innovation.
Not to say the other consoles aren't good, but people look at graphics too much these days as the end all of games.

You do realise Natal isnt exactly all that new. Sony has a quite similar feature for their PS2. its called Eye Toy. Natal is more of just and enhanced version of Eye Toy. And also Natal will probably be big but people will stop giving a shit after about a week of its release
I didn't know that, but the Natal thing is supposed to work better than the wii in the area of physical gaming. Probably like the eye toy, but it works a lot better they say and it will probably have better games because it is for the 360

Hopefully this game is better than the last two Silent Hill games that Konami has put out. But then again, it wouldn't be that hard for it to be better than those games.

What you are failing to realize is that games should be about gameplay and story, not graphics. That is what makes the original Silent Hill still so great.
Umm I don't know what that guy is talking about the loading times in the old Silent Hill games hindering the experience. More so the original one. I never really noticed any loading times aside from when you begin the game and Harry is running. I was scared through the whole thing and same with Silent Hill 2.
You hit the nail on the head. I remember in Silent Hill 4 in the apartment I always got so freaked out with the loading time of that person. Everytime you went back to the apartment you had to wait and I was scared of one haunting. If it happened right away with zero loading times it wouldn't of been as scary.
I never felt the loading time took away from the game. I don't even remember loading times in the original games. And Silent Hill 2 only had footsteps for the loading time which took a few seconds.
Silent Hill: Origins, Silent Hill: Homecoming and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories are all proof that idiots need to stay away from my favorite franchise and games.
I have nothing against girl gamers, well the majority of them. The ones I do have something against are the ones who wonder if it is odd that they play video games just for attention.
I don't know why, but I started laughing when the idea of actually being able to close the door was mentioned as a feature. Not because it's bad, but since I've never played a horror game before, I thought that would be a sort of given thing. This game makes the Wii seem like something worth buying now (good thing, too since I've already gone one), I hope it's as good as I think it'll be.

I don't know why, but I started laughing when the idea of actually being able to close the door was mentioned as a feature. Not because it's bad, but since I've never played a horror game before, I thought that would be a sort of given thing. This game makes the Wii seem like something worth buying now (good thing, too since I've already gone one), I hope it's as good as I think it'll be.
