This is an okay game. It ain't the best (framerate is uneven and controls are a little unresponsive at times), but it retains the better points of the Serious Sam games, and it's fun in short bursts.

The GBA was capable of a near PERFECT port of DOOM II, the Serious Sam fans and GBA fans should agree that this is unacceptable. True, the PC S.Sam had way more powerful hardware than DOOM, but if the developers wanted a GBA port of this game, they should have tried to make the port a SMOOTH enough sprite- based 3D FPS. This shows NO effort!

Don't hate on the GBA, it's capable of some great graphics when in the right hands . Their mistake is wanting to make this an FPS when instead they should have made it a top down shooter or something. Like the bonus levels in Bionic Commando.

Yes it is pretty poor. The controls do not work. The aiming is difficult with a laptop keyboard so I suspect the D-pad on a GBA won't be much better. Also the Kamikzes should have been taken out. They are a pain in the ass.

When I first started this game I didnt know what was going on. Random headless people with chainsaws for hands started chasing me, and they wouldnt die. When they touched me they exploded, and it reminded me of a suicide attack (9/11 anyone?). When I finally survived their attacks I ran into floating bubble gum machines. Then bulls started going gansta on me. I still havent touched that game since then.
