@Cheesebtrz Not my vid...but here's the deal...the vestax ( I think) does not deal in midi, and its all the APC 40 does. The best way is to go out from the mixer, into ableton (audio channel) and out through your sound card. PM me, I have a lot of experience setting this up for people)

@electratix the APC doesn't quantize presses, Ableton does. I don't even use Ableton for DJing, because I don't trust computers to beat match. I've been a real DJ for years, and I understand where the hostility comes from because I dish it out to wannabes all the time, but I still hate guys who think they're pro just because they have a pioneer DJM setup, which I've used and hate tbh. For that money, they shouldn't feel so shitty and cheap, but that's just IMO.

The APC40 does not have do anything to the music it doesn't change the music or quantisize the beats or anything else. It's purely a hardware interface device to control the software parameters it has no 'brains' of it's own, no sounds, no nothing. THE APC40 does NOT quantize the beats, the software does it all by itself.
