where does this come from? Chinkon kishin is a shinto meditation. It has nothing to do with yari, aikidoka do practice chinkon kishin in there warm ups.

Cuose do Misogi(purification)without knowing the meaning of we are doing, is just move a piece of wood and nothing can change inside.
I think that after have done a Misogi technic, your feelings chance (may be for a little while. If not, well, is not Misogi.
