  • HAPPY BIRSDAY TO YOU!!! =)))

  • *cough* world war 1 *cough* - sorry had a little something stuck in my throat

*cough* world war 2 *cough* - anyone got a cough mint?

  • Like this if your German!

  • Majority? I could name 2 people klose is a german surname as they come from a region with plenty of german immigrants. as far as I know Rooney is Irish, Welbeck is ghanian and I could come up with plenty of other examples. Racial purity is obselete nowadays my friend.

  • @rossini921, Rooney was born in liverpool, Welbeck was born in Manchester. How aren't they English?

  • @ManUntdFCfan Ozil was born in Gelsenkirchen. Boateng was born in Berlin and Gomez in Riedlingen I don't see why they shouldn't be German either when you follow that kind of logic. Just like Rooney isn't Irish and Welbeck isn't Ghanian people should quit thinking that Germany steals players when they were all born there and a lot of them have German ancestry too. Klose is from Silesia which has a large group of German speakers as well as Podolski.

  • alle klatschen auch wenns so scheiße is ( die elfmeter ) :> geil ey

  • GERMANY lost penalty shoot out again CZECH REP at 1976 EURO CHAMPION and ULI STIELIKE missed one at WORLD CUP 1982 again FRANCE but GERMANY won that game though!

  • German's don't miss.

  • seriously has Germany ever lost a penalty shootout?

everytime i see them, they're fast, confident (no hesitation) and hammer it in, without a 2nd thought.

    Nerves of Steel

  • A German missing a penalty is unheard of. The last time I recall that happening the guy was half Polish.

  • happy birsday tooo youuu!!!!!!!11

  • its a good thing i know german...but not rly...

  • Go Greece!

  • it would help if the title made sence

  • @zxcjazzie

What is a sence? And why should the title make one of those sences?

  • Where's the video of them training to run out the clock then eh??!

But seriously the current German team is very good and I can't see England even getting to penalties against them any time soon, let alone beating them.

  • Bad goailkeeping?

  • god the germans are a boring bunch of people, only they could make penalties so dull

  • @benrosenberg

Come on ... where is your famous English sense of humour when you face your own inferiority?

Is it because your surname is Rosenberg? ;-)

  • @Lintflas hahaha i think so! this was my english sense of humour, we all know the germans will kill anyone in a penalty competition, and if they are a different race....:p

  • @Lintflas nazi

  • @benrosenberg

If you ask me, not Germans are boring and dull, but people bravely insulting other nationalities over the internet. No class, dude.

  • @Jonathanizer as john cleese says: you have abosoloutely no sense of humour

  • @benrosenberg

Maybe i have no sense of humor. Or, on youtube (especially on football videos) half the comments are nationalist/racist or otherwise tainted, and without any smileys nobody can tell the differences between those postings and your posting. Well, that or the humor thing...

Greetings from very unfunny Germany ;)

  • @benrosenberg because they usually go in against your shit team

  • @rossini921 hahaha you can say that again, but to be fair all our players are English, majority of your players are Polish

  • Shweinsteiger!!!!!!!

  • Germany's strength, agility, chess like soccer is all based on their rigirous training routine. I read the coach and managers blog on training and what not. If they fuck up on a drill, they have to run the length of the whole pitch.

  • This video is so much more fun if you know german :D

  • WTF is is going on in here 1:56. Unbelievable...:)

  • @CaRamBar1005 Well the players first had to tell, in which corner they were going to score and the keeper heard the player say that he wanted to score that corner. So the goalkeeper went in that corner to make it pretty much impossible for the striker to score. If a player didn´t score or didn´t score the right corner he would have to serve the others players at diner ;D (sorry for my bad englisch)

  • i lol'd at the description. too true.

  • "marcel und tim"

    ("die säcke") xD

  • fuk england, scotland loves germany:L:L:L ......again :)

  • or they are good or their keeper is not good

  • 2 world wars and 1 world cup doo dahh

  • @calumjenkins how pathetic

  • @calumjenkins: actually - it was 3 world cups: '54, '74 and '90... just for the record...

  • DAS UBER PENALTY MACHINEN!!

  • der schweini !

  • Boros Penalty is the Best!

  • @Clays13 sorry but that was EURO 1976 and DEUTSCHLAND never lost a penalty at world cup yet.it's was euro 1976 deutschland lost to czechslovakia right?german players got a strong cold head and german goalkeeper is tall, athletic and look scary as MAIER,,,SCHUMACHER,,,ILLNER,,,KOEPKE,,,KAHN,,,LEHMAN and now NEUER,,,WIESE,,,ADLER are the best for GERMANY.have anyone heard of KRAFT?WEIDENFELLER?OMG they just keep coming and scary though!

  • not a single german has missed a penalty in a world championship , look it up if u like..

  • Tim Borowski, legend.

  • Epic goal at 1:57 LOL! That's what they mean when they say 'pick your spot and stick to it!'

  • well, the trick seems to be very simple but yet efficient:

they have to say where they are going to shoot and if the keeper saves or they don´t get the right corner, they have to serve the others at dinner

    -> great idea

  • Somehow the Germans are the best at scoring penalties, and yet their keepers are the best at saving them!

  • lol it actually sounds like a real crowd at 1:57, Germans have such passion for the game :D

  • @Rednasyl28 Lol, yeah, it does sound like a real crowd...

  • this is a real team!

  • great friendly atmosphere.. )

    really, england watch and learn

  • Der Batsi is so toll XD

  • germany didnt even lose 1 world cup penalty shooting in complete football history :D

  • für marcell und tim die säcke lol

  • bastian <3

  • who is 1:15 ??

  • @infectedkoozer thats Tim Borowski

  • @arisxXx99 ohh true (= thanks

  • @infectedkoozer borowski

  • The German national team is great. I am a huge fan of them and always have been. They are going to do very well this World Cup

  • I believe Germany has never missed a penalty since 1982.

  • @madass888 or since yesterday now :(

  • next WC champions in south africa 2010!!! :D

Go deutschland!

  • Cool xD Check out my penalty kick too:))) on my channel

    CHeers.

    C

  • I remember some british newspaper asked a German player Why he thought the Germans were so good at pentalty kicks and the German said"because we practice" LOL

  • You sing "Happy Birthday" in English ??

  • yup. we have the same kind of song in german with a different text, but it is more popular in english. one can only speculate why, maybe cause the german song is a little too cheesy and people don't feel comfortable with it. it goes like:

lots of luck and blessing on all your journeys and may health and happiness alwas be with you... lalala and all the best of luck to you on your birthday...

cheesey ey? ye. you feel like a dick singing it... sometimes.

  • @MWcrazyhorse Haha I see what you mean ! Still as long as you get good presents ;) Hopefully no penalities for my team in the world cup !!!

  • @bri4u2906

    Hahaha yes we do :)

  • @bri4u2906 yeah, there is a german version but its gay so we just do it in english

  • 2:49 alles? ehhyy heyy yuhu lolz...

  • i wonder if the German strength and success in shooting penalties results from our mentality. stiff robots, extremly coldbloooded...

no, I guess it´s rather the opposite. we don´t take it so seriously as you can see. we have won 3 world cups, 3 european cups... and when they miss, the fans will love them anyway. so let´s get the fu**n´ ball in there!

  • "our mentality. stiff robots, extremly coldbloooded."... Da sprichst du aber bitte für dich :)

  • referring to the statement of The4thbranche a further explanation:

"thats damn hot" "awesome" "wicked" or whatever meaning very cool would be translated in german "das ist geil".

but it´s common speech, you won´t meet a lot university professors saying that I guess. ;)

you can use "geil" also to describe lustfulness. but only in connection with persons. e.g. "are hou horny?" would mean "bist du geil?". depending on your nubility you´ll then get either "yes" or "no" as an answer. xD

  • ive seen geil a lot ive seen the definition but i dont get it. is it like saying cool or thats hot?

  • yes that's the defenition is cool, hot, or whatever but if you say "I am "geil"" that's it means the same as I'm horny ... but it's mostly used as cool ...

  • oh okay thanks a lot man :)

  • 1:57 beste :D

  • Germany is the best nation in shooting penalties:D..

    We'll never loose in penalties

  • Why even make it to Penalties? They'll win before the final whistle ;)

  • @osriser But you will "loose" in spelling.

  • @survivor5000 LOL.. your funny.. n true!

  • @osriser Didn't Germany lose a Euro final to the Czechs on penalties?

  • @osriser holland can do better look at Robben and Van Persie

  • @fortunehead

you need 5 for a shootout, we have özil podolski schweinsteiger, müller and klose/gomez im sure eacht of them is able to score

  • @osriser and how many of those are actually german?

  • @youtub3us3rnam3

they all are idiot. 2 of them aren't born in germany but lived here for their whole life. You couldnt be any more german.

  • @osriser are you serious cacau born in brazil trochowski klose podolski are born in poland marin was born in bosnia thats 5 ozil and tasci are both turkish gomez father is spanish boateng is from ghana and aogo is from nigeria so next time before u call some one an idiot make sure u know what your on about buddy your a disgrace if you are german

  • @youtub3us3rnam3

It seems that your able to use google. If you were able to read you would`ve seen that i was referring to the shooters. THOSE were the listed ones and Im actually tired of reading unqualified bullshit about the german team. They play wonderful football no matter were their roots are. They all are integrated and went to german schools except for cacau. I am german and proud of it, whereas you re just a kiddy who is jealous of our great football team or simply just a racist.

  • @osriser your abit of a goose because the only one i didnt know was aogo and im not saying that there not an excellent team one of the best going around and they play som good stuff but when u tell me that there are 2 that arnt born in germany and i knew for a fact 5 that are born overseas i think you should use google i think you need it and what do u mean THOSE were the ones listed ar u telling me that there are more german players that are from different countries ?

  • @youtub3us3rnam3

damn you wont get it. This whole topic was about penalties and i listed five players that would definitely score: Gomez Podolski Schweinsteiger Müller and Özil and you asked me who of them is german and i answered they all are. You get it?

  • @osriser viva le france mother bitch

  • I agree, that the immigration policies of the 70s are going to destroy the culture of Germany and turn into a multinational USA/UK. However, these players just represent current state of Germany, which is inhabited by many different cultures and peoples. But Klose is a German name. His father Josef Klose was German. Podolski and Trochowski also have some German heritage. Don't forget that many Germans live in East Prussia once - and still do in some villages like Oppeln. Germans and Poles mixed.

  • @youtub3us3rnam3

Oezils family is in Germany in the 3.Generation, same for Tasci, they said they never thought about playing for any other team.

Why are you - obviously not German - trying to tell Germans who is german and who isn't german? We can decide that ourselves and don't need no help, thank you. We (most Germans) like diversed cultural influences and consider our Mannschaft an example for good integration politics.

    GO GERMANY!

  • @youtub3us3rnam3

Podolski, Trochowski and Klose have german ancestors, thats why they were even allowed to migrate to Germany in the 80s.

Cacau lives here with his family, raises his kids here, loves it here and wants to stay in Germany even after his career.

Marin has spend nearly all of his life in Germany, and played in all german youth teams.

Gomez, Boateng, Aogo, Khedira all have german mothers, they have all spend their whole life in Germany and never wanted to play for any other team.

  • @youtub3us3rnam3 All of them. Otherwise they wouldn´t be allowed to play for Germany ;) What a dumb question seriosly! If a player wants to play for germany because he loves this country and if he has a german passport, then he is just as german as I am.

  • @fortunehead They have't won a world cup yet. -.-

  • those are penalties :D learn little children.

  • There is something about Germany. They seem to be dominant in almost everything. Football team, military, economy, etc... I am English and i support the German National Team.

    Viva la Deutschland!

  • That really is sickening.

  • you're not english.

  • and u are an insult to the good spirit of football SewellyTV

  • I wouldn't say that the germany are dominant in military... surely not. But yes... The football team is very good, even they don't have the big stars but the teamplay is great!

Hope in the 2010 Final we can see the German Team against the english. It would be the perfect match for such a tournament :D

  • @eichler68 well what do you know :)

  • @englandforlife7 no its called intelligence

  • @englandforlife7 GERMANY 4 ENGERLAND 1 :D

  • @englandforlife7 you can support anybody you want in the fifa world cup

  • @Triumvirate1994 so true

  • @Triumvirate1994 what about world wars?

  • @coolguy8382002

it is a testament to German perseverance that despite losing both, they have re-established themselves as the top European nation in the present day. England WON both, but where are they now?

  • @Triumvirate1994 i know, was only having a distasteful joke, forgive me. the germans are incredibly efficient in all areas agreed. however I do disagree with you supporting the german national team when your nationality is english. I agree their good but whats wrong with a bit of patriotism?

  • @coolguy8382002

I support football which rewards my viewing, and it is a sport. For me, sport does not provide the best arena for patriotism. I would happily represent my country, but as a football fan first and foremost, I choose to encourage the positive and entertaining German football being played at the moment. If England were to play Germany, I would support England. I just choose to give the Germans a bit of credit, that's all :)

  • @coolguy8382002 Stupidest joke. Flagged

  • @Triumvirate1994 wish they could play cricket or rugby. lol

  • @Triumvirate1994 I cant really agree that Germany has a dominant military. Given that we are living in peace and are surrounded by friends, having a powerful military force would be inefficient. And I admit, efficiency is important for Germans, thats maybe why we suck in the humor area.

  • @htews

this humour thing is one really old clishee.

epic at 1:57, who shot that? borowski?

  • @Triumvirate1994 You, sir, are a traitor and a scoundrel.

  • Comment removed

  • @rockstarofspades

I was just as disappointed as any Englishman when we lost to the Germans in WC 2010. But sometimes you have to hold your hands up and give the credit they are due. The Germans were a TEAM, and while not having the flash superstars we did, played with a cohesion and spirit that one day I hope my country can replicate. Traitor? I think not.

  • @Triumvirate1994 No not a traitor at all. I´m glad to hear that our new way to play football has made us more popular in other nations. Many people here hated the old destructive tactics, even though they were successful sometimes. I have always found the Premiere League as the most entertaining and exciting leagues in the world. Does that make ME a traitor?

  • @Triumvirate1994 its the mentality of the german people... and yes i do know what you mean...they literally excel at everything!

  • @Triumvirate1994 military

    hahah next joke.

  • @elementsk8co Why not, they were up against 4 nations, USA can't even beat Afghanistan, Iraq and vietnam? Maybe this is the next joke!

  • @elementsk8co

It took the combined might of the USSR, USA and Britain to stop the Germans.

Wanna hear a joke about Vietnam?

  • @Triumvirate1994 did the germans succeed? no they got beat twice.

  • Gott ist Hildebrand schlecht

  • Schweini für wen musst du vorbereiten? - Für Marcel und Tim , die Säcke ! XD

  • Does it physically hurt to be that prejudiced and stupid?

  • everymatt, a Brit commenting on a video about taking penalties. Real life commedy at its best. Maybe you guys should start practicing some penalties from time to time? This way you wouldn't lose every single one.

And talking about personalities. I have lived in England for some times and the English are too tight-assed to speak their mind, wear every fashion trend on the next day no matter how ridiculous, women are slutty (teenmoms galore) and people constantly apologise for everything.

  • everymatt.... go and have your nap ;)

  • @everymatt

why do you think theyre acting like robots? did you even understand a word of what theywere saying? The german national team players all have a great personality and you might know that if you wouldn't judge them on this one vid you saw

and: wise guys isn't rap - it's acapella ,, try bushido

  • This is teamwork.

  • I loved Kahn jumping around behind the net at 1:00...lol

  • cud sum1 translate wat arne says please :)

  • Thanks to everyone for concratulating him on his birthday. He is going to pay for everything eaten or drunk that evening.

  • how come they sing happy birthday in english? lol

  • i dont speak german but i know that the english language has west germanic roots so many words sound similar, the same could be said of dutch.

  • no, they're singing Happy Birthday in exact English

  • i am german, in germany you sing always happy birthday in english .. its always happy birthday to youuuuu! :)

  • yes, i know that, english is my native language.

  • what's wrong? I'm Thai and we mostly sing Happy birthday in english. 55+

  • In Germany we sing Happy Birthday in English that's not special... =) But they say the 'dear' in German 'lieber'
