What was this event? Who put it on, what was the purpose, etc?

@RCRhythm Totally agreed. Never heard of this event. The solo's alright, but if you want to claim national competition, go look at I&E, those seems much more impressive.

@BosPercussion this was the first of many solo events that are popping up in the socal area and soon to go nationwide. its called CHOPS and is sponsored by Pearl and blue devils entertainment. the judging panel consists of Sean Vega, Casey Brohard and other former I&E competitors.
