We're trying to do Little Swans in my pointe class, but my instructor has already said that if we can't get everything together and become fluid, then we won't perform it. So far it looks like we're not performing it. These girls did very well for such a grueling and demanding dance. I am quite impressed.

Good Job! They all dance together not perfectly, but they are still young. People who don't dance ballet it's up to the teacher at what age the kids earn the right to go on toe shoes.  Some kids just do this for fun and don't dance en pointe at all! After all shoes don't make the dancer. It's how much time you put into this!

I certainly do not hate children. These children are not yet strong enough to do a dance this complicated. They can hardly get up on their toe boxes! This particular dance is for the very advanced dancer, not little girls with weak legs and feet. Forcing a child on pointe for such a demanding dance is the recipe for injury. Stress fractures, ankle and tendon issuesm etc. Shame on the teacher who cast these children in such a demanding dance! I cringe watching these kids.....

I think you girls did a great job with this. This is a very difficult variation to and you stayed together better than a lot of others that posted videos of the same on here. Keep practicing and work on getting over your boxes a little more. Otherwise good job.

They are all over the place! They are never on their box, they are never pointing there toes. I think that they need to get more technqie, before they even think about pointe. Stay together first of all. Yes pointes hard, but being a ballerina's hard. Pointe hurts, I know that. But part of dancing is making it look good. And this varation was wayy to hard for them.

@Snobarry dude no matter how hard they try pointe shoes are hard shoes they WILL make sound. if u go to an actual performance and sit in the front row then u can hear the dancers' shoes. i still cant believe how many ppl r ignorant of that fact.
