  • Oh me

  • one day I hope I will dance it on my wedding day, looking and holding my man. This song puts me through the years, the ages, the space and the whole universe. I've never felt anything like this, but this masterpiece. I'm really sorry for my bad english:((

  • As perfect as a song can ever be. Love the man <3

  • 27 People were mistakes, not miracles

  • "when people ask who did this you tell em 'Mickey and Mallory Knox did it'"

  • @silverhawkslugger "eeny, meeny, miney, moe. Catch a redneck by his toe. If he hollers, let him go!" :D

  • 27 people don't believe in miracles

  • Great song! Well for some people Mozart is simply too much to handle...bubble gum is more low key........it's a choice.

  • That voice...Fucking hell.

  • There's something about this song that just makes my mind go on a trip.

Love his voice its so strong yet so soft.

  • this song is perfect, everything in it.

  • This song can be interpeted in many ways

  • LEONARD! come on tour in DC! no matter my mood.. this music relaxes me.

  • Eugenio Montale should probably be credited with coining this title-

I think Cohen also borrows some Leopardi...

Guess he was a fan of Italian poetry...

    Still like the song though

  • @sunsetandbabylon Depends on the song. In Denmark we have a fuck-song. youtube-D0T-com/watch?v=Zc_dgbCHs58. It's probably not the same when you don't understand the lyrics, but I can tell you that the song is about sex, and it is incredible vulgar.

  • Natural Born Killer!

  • This is truly a story of a lifetime !

  • it would be nice to see "natural born killers" again....

    like his sound....

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeea

  • this song has made more babies than views.

  • @chikewaa As far as I remember that took much more action than just waiting for a miracle:-)

  • @marcelia3 I'd say the action is more in producing than making the babies, haha, used to get pregnant by reading books about babies next time around producing (which in our weird country seems to be fashionable now to do in your sixties) I want Mozart, bubblegum and a nice sedation :-)

  • @suzettegm You're so right!! Well since you still seem to be eager to produce, why not try to produce a book instead of reading one, huh? Besides of that you know that labor sedation is still not done here.....stick to your yoga!!

  • J'aime énormément cette vidéo, cette voix si sensuelle , me fait vibrée.

    Merci de me l'avoir envoyer.

    Tu te reconnaitras mon Ange.

  • poetic , beautiful

  • The women choir fucks this great song up.

  • @Szederp Isn´t that funny, I think they make it better.

  • Why is Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" in the related videos?

Damn good song by the way, Thank you Natural Born Killers :)

  • @IamPersonMan Lady Gaga will disappear if we stop paying attention to her. She's nothing but an updated Madonna. Who? Exactly.

  • é sacanagem

    eh demais para meu vizual..

    leonard cohen

  • what do you guys think this song is about

  • @mr420 All of Leonard's songs are about relationships.

  • magical song, takes me away every time

  • 23 people are still waiting on the miracle to come.....

  • Reminds me of "Wonderboys"

  • I always took this to mean about wasting your like waiting for it something good to happen instead of making it happen. It's weird how songs can mean so many different things to different people

  • I love it

  • You must have never heard of Bonnie & Clyde.

This is a cool song though.

I just watched the movie in tv.

Juliette Lewis always plays the innocent victim part.

She does have beautiful eyes that make you want her. LOL.

  • Masterpiece.

  • Cohen is a genius..

  • The Miracle has been here all along, tap into it and it will raise you up

  • Micky is tired of waiting for the miracle.

  • "I know you really love me, (creator of the universes love)

but you wouldnt like it here, (sin afflicted earth) there is no entertainment

and judgement is severe" (all there is sin, lust full luciferian ideals)

so we are waiting for a miracle--christ to come and wash away all this affliction

  • @mindmusic90 cool story bro.

  • I could've sworn that was Mark Lanegan singing when I first saw that movie.

  • Everything I see reminds me of NBK

  • @HarboeDrinker that's kind of disturbing but beautiful at the same time

  • A masterpiece!!!!!

  • Love this line.- "The Maestro says it's Mozart, but it sounds like bubble gum.."

  • beautiful, mysterious, bizare

  • páči sa mi jeho hlas ale tvoj milujem, čakanie na zázrak, že zašepkáš mi svojim hlasom pár krásnych slov.....

  • a masterpiece

  • Very gorgeous song. I imagine the devil in a black suit and tie walking on water towards the shore with this song playing for some reason. :p

  • @trentkill Yeah? I know Oliver Stone used it for the menace in the instrumentals, but I don't think it's about murder. It's about waiting. And doing little else. "Waiting for Godot," etc.

  • @brelfan never mind that the lyrics talk about "waiting" right?

  • @vincentpricesnephew Yes, waiting. A song about waiting. I guess the menace in it comes from suggestions at the end. "Let's do something absolutely wrong."

  • eso me gusta

  • Great Song. Thx for uploading!

  • I like closing time, of course I heard it...I'm a big Cohen fan ;) Soon he'll have a concert in Croatia, and ofc I have a ticket :))) If we are talking about favorites, then I must mention "Hey that's no way to say goodbye", "Famous blue raincoat", "The Partisan"...he wrote and sang many great songs :)

  • There could be alot of interpretations of this song. To me it sounds like someone who has found heaven but it's not what it sounded like. Interpret heaven as you will.

  • Really,...You're comparing this L. Cohen song to Chris Deburgh???!!! You are kidding, right?

I will assume you are kidding.

  • no im not kidding. listen to chris de burgh's lady in red. the starting sounds like this one. not the voice. the beat.

  • epic song! without any doubt. legendary. the beat sounds like Chris De Burgh's Lady In Red . both are great songs.

  • such an epic song (as always from cohen).

  • This song so perfectly captures the personality of a guy I dated for several months, it's uncanny! Makes me feel a lot better about the way things turned out. Thank you, Leonard!!!!

  • baby let's get married,

we've been alone for too long

    let's be alone together

let's see if we're that strong..

This is the part I love most...

  • Saw THE MAN in St.Louis last weekend. AWESOME!!!!! This song just sent chills up my spine. Anyone know where I can get a recording/download of this with Dino Soldo doing his thing with a tenor Sax? It's just not the same on any of the recordings I've found. I swear when Dino plays you can see a snake coiling seductively in front of your eyes!

  • I have seen him live on stage in August. But the live performance of this song with a banduria has removed its depressive, even suicidal mood. What do you think about it?

  • Well, I finally couldn't stand it and had to purchase/download this song from iTunes. I have the version from "The Essential Leonard Cohen" album. I think it's the same as this version. The live performance I heard in St.Louis was perhaps not as depressive, but was more seductive IMHO. What I liked is the tenor sax part played by Dino Soldo. Very sensual, more so than any recording I've heard. Still sends chills thru me.

  • if you've ever waited... this song almost makes it ok :)

  • Such a haunting melody. Yet another LC song added to my favorites. It's getting impossible to say just what my favorites are any more. Can't wait to see the man in person in just a few short days now in St.Louis.

  • Great Cohen..

  • Leonard Cohen's song touches the strings of my soul. He is not only a singer but something more, more special and intelligent. Thanks mr Cohen!

  • i thought im the only one....

  • this is just awesome, its like crusing away with your girl, in a flash car no care no destination, just roll man....
