Being white does not necessarily mean one's European. For instance Marília Vargas is Caucasian, but she's Brazilian - very Brazilian. I hope I'm not being kind of annoying, but it's just that this commentary is perhaps interesting to change or improve one's perceptions. ;-)

Magnífica, como siempre, cualquier versión que toca Savall de Monteverdi. Es magnífico contar con una orquesta y un coro como estos en la actualidad, haciendo que la música antigua suena a eso: a antigua. Realmente nos permite retrotraernos en el tiempo y 'oler y sentir' tiempos pasados como si estuvieran en éste.

Thanks for posting this... but why did you cut out the middle and most important parts of the scene, including the lively chorus "Lasciate i monti," Orfeo's song "Rosa del ciel" and Euridice's answer? Frustrating to jump straight from the Nymph's solo to the Shepherd's solo.
