I've seen flooded roads where the asphalt looks solid but it isn't. It has actually been undercut enough that the weight of a vehicle will push through into the void underneath.
That could tip the vehicle over and with that much water flowing you would be in serious trouble.
luckily the girls added just the right amount of weight,to keep the vehicles tires firmly planted,otherwise they might have turned out like the poor driver of the 300,--just kiding girls......
