I agree, a very heartwarming story. I came out to a very select few of my friends in high school too. Strangely enough, they were all male friends. The problem is, when we do come out, we always have that worry if anyone is going to start talking. None did, and we are all still very good friends. I wouldn't trade anything for being gay. I've loved my life and my gay friends. Take care of yourself. You are a nice looking guy, and should have no trouble finding a great partner.

Coming out is never easy, some socioligists and people in the psychiatric

field have theorized that queer(LGBT) people come out on a daily basis! When I was

a boy, not quite 18, I met, dated and fell in love with a boy named Bobby Griffith

(Prayers for Bobby).

I had been out while in high school, but Bobbys' family was

ultra religious and could not accept or understand him.The pain of the closet and

their rejection was unbearable, and Bobby took his own life as a result!

But I believe you my friend will be strong, and I am pleased that you will

be "out" in a far different world than the one that Bobby and I were out in!

We're not there yet but full inclusion is within sight!

Congrats on coming out so early! I just recently did after my first year in college, and I really wish I had done it earlier. But dude, your story and mine are really similar. I'll probably end up doing a video on this topic as well.

Oh, and for SURE-- college owns high school, no contest. You're going to love it.
