For all of those people who are web surfing for a way to jailbrake do not do green poison it is the worst thing to use for a 4.1 i pod it deletes all of your games and is soo fucking slow, it dosent work so just go and pat 10-20$ to get a professional jailbraker and these people know what's best but for those people who have other I pod versions try jailbrake me, not shure but green poison, black rain, lime rain ( only the jailbrake me docent need a computer)

Instead, look for GreenPois0n RC3. Try: dl.qj.net/software/apple/green­pois0n-rc3-windows.html Don't worry if you already used the new greenpois0n as you don't need to restore your iDevice. Just use this one and it'll simply rewrite the former and a new loader app will appear that can open!

Check the firmware on your iPod, if it's 4.1 then download the file from the link I provided in my previous comment. If you have already done so (that is, downloaded from the description), and the loader app won't open, then just try the one in my link. Good luck.
