  • I heard she coming to Chicago in May '12

  • I need classes with a master like her

  • nice music.........

  • ANIMAL STYLE. SHE IS OBVIOUSLY GREAT. PERSONALLY ARMS CONFUSE ME ON MY BELLY S WATCHING. I PREFER FIRST PLACE TO BELLY AND HIPS IF WE WANT TO WATCH ADMIRE AND LEARN. I PREFER ARMS IN VERY SECOND PLACE. ANY WAY SHE S GOT A PERSONAL STYLE AND LOTS OF TALENT.

  • I loveeee watching her,...she's sooooo amazing !!!!!

  • I love her hips! Such control she has. And a favourite thing of mine that she does is the hip drop 'n rumble thing.

  • goddess <3

  • why do ppl talk sh1t about someone sharing their talent, she's great and who cares about the oil I thought we are here tosee her dancing that's her choice to put on some oil on her body whatever her reason is. If she is a mother with stretch marks and chooses not to show them than fine. Actually i think the oil makes her look sexier :) .. GREAT TALENT

  • Yay !!!

  • her technique is amazing. what I also like about her is she is engaged with music and it comes through how much she enjoys the dancing. loved seeing her live performance in Cairo last year, she always smiles and lightens up the room - a true bellydancer.

  • la mejor¡¡¡¡¡

  • Whooooooo!

  • Very nice! I like that she is even in her technique-keeping it interesting and flowing. She knows her moves!

  • Interesting to see in your info that she claims to never have been trained in Oriental. I find it quite believable. In fact, I have a theory, that you can train a very strong and exquisite Oriental dancer without any actual Oriental training... by just training them in ballet and folkloric Arab dances and showing them videos and performances by Oriental dancers and exposing them to the music and musicality.

  • In Randa's case of course she grew up in a place where "belly dance" (as beledi) is pretty normal and is done socially so she grew up with it. So she already absorbed the culture, the music, the dance, the musicality, the expression... In that kind of environment what one needs most in regards to formal dance training for Oriental is folkloric and ballet training. It's no wonder she's such a great dancing.

  • Very ,very nice

  • very, very nice

  • Unbelievable !

That what can be called PERFECTION!

  • Thanks for sharing...

  • I love this performance! I can watch it over and over again:) Randa is wonderful.

  • Where can i buy this dvd and the Diana's??? please :)

  • I love to revisit Randa's work...great video...thank you for sharing DinaVienna.....;)))

  • 1:44

    +1000000 :)))))

  • gosh, the boobs are so fake that i can't even watch the whole video... it makes me creepy!

  • e' molto brava! pero'.. questo corpo oleoso mi distrae l'attenzione dalla danza a guardare sto corpo... sembra innaturale...

  • shes on my short list of fav dancers

  • can anybody please tell me which rythm is this?

  • I just simply LOVE IT! :)

Could somebody tell me the name of this song? It is absolutely great!

    Thanks in advance

  • @cinty12 "el toba" by abdel halim hafez!

  • @dinavienna

Thanks, but i cant find it. :( Could you send me please?

  • @cinty12 Adding to DinaVienna response, El Touba (means Giving up or Quit), lyrics by Abdel Rahman El Abnoudy and music composed by Baligh Hamdy (who married Warda) and sang by Abdel Halim Hafiz. This particular version is specific to Randa's CD with even added Tabla player in the background.

  • if she wants to hide it though, she can still wear a costume,Egyptian style ones with the dress like appearance, they can look even better than bra and belt cus they have good details now, fringes and stuff ,that shake just as dramatically as majority of bra and belt costumes.

  • She's a great dancer, but I really don't like that body. It's unnatural, especially (obviously) her breasts. Also this is the first bellydancer I've seen that uses oil on her body like a greek wrestler.

  • @MLFive for the oil: don't hate on the girl, she uses it to conceal stretch marks from a pregnancy on her tummy :) she uses oil and glitter, and I heard someone say the stretchmarks are visible when seeing her without the wrestler touch, but not with it :))

  • @dinavienna I don't care if she uses oil, glitter or whatever she wants to use. I dont care if she has stretch marks either. I wonder why people are so superficial and malicious and judgemental of others. I love the way she dance and that's it. Also, i dont care if she elevate her brest up to her head, if she feels confortable with that who I am to said otherwise , right?

  • @228suhaila I agree. I don't care a bit whether she has stretch marks, but I can understand if she herself is conscious of them and prefers to hide them.

  • @MLFive I love Randa's dynamism. A body type can be shaped through training. It's a dancer's choice. Since this is an aesthetic art, it's most important to come out as pleasant as possible. So, it's good to hear personal opinions. For the oil... it is distracting. If it is for the stretch marks, makeup would so a better job with foundation, powder and glitter to conceal it.

  • la mejor, la mejor y la mejor!!!

  • THE BEST OF THE BEST!! Great technique and music feeling! Love her!!

  • THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!

  • @IshtarBellydancer thanks :)))

  • ah this version of her dancing el touba, is different to other versions she has taught and on dvd workshops... like a TRUE dancer, she is not going to repeat the same routine over and over to boredom!! lol, you have to change bits on the moment to make it live & fun she is partly improvised here and not a rigid choreo....Love this version the best than the workshop dvd I have!!

  • Very nice! El Toba is beautiful music! And Randa is fabulous!

  • ok.. thank you!!

but I respect her Romani dance very much!

  • romani..?--->what that means, she's turkish..

idk, these "Randa Kamal Raks Sharki" with her long as name look like meat on the fan, soseg with oil wtf?! tthese bra is choking her cheast man!

didem is real women dance with pasion!--->sech for didem and see how the PRO do it (:

  • By the way it is not her name that is so long.

She is called Randa Kamal - Kamal being a very common Arab name.

Raks sharki means oriental dance :)

  • like a true arab, live music to accompany the canned music :)

arabs are addicted to live music :)

  • exactly true :))))

  • After 11 years studyng bellydance, Randa still surprise me... the only bellydancer who makes me want to keep dancing

It´s from her own CD, she sells it, if she gives workshops, but I think you can bye it directly at her website also

  • wanna kool magool altopa yaboy...for abedalhalim hafiz..وانا كل ماقول التوبه...عبد الحليم حافظ

  • sorry honey, but then you have not seen bellydance. This is the real Egyptian stuff, not foreign distortions of the movements! :)

or do you not like the dance in general? That is of course an opinion I absolutely respect.

  • thanks for sending me the invite to this video. she is a really great dancer! her moves are both sharp and fluid, and she has the perfect hips for all those moves too. I can tell why you like her so much! :D 5/5 from me.

  • Thank you for posting this....I love Randa Kamal very much too....this clip is incredible....your Channel is so awesome.

  • I very like Randa: precise technique, charisma, gorgeous body. She has her unique style, which I wouldn't call "classical Egyptian"(but who cares?). Thanks for posting this video, it is really beautiful.

  • Hi Galinamora!! welcome to my young channel :)

yes, i agree, to me she is a representative of very "modern" Egyptian style bellydance, post-Dina so to say.

She might of course be a classic in a few decades from now :)

  • I hope this is the first bellydance to be posted of many many more to come from you.

    *5 & Favorited & Subscribed 5*

  • You have a classy taste. Thank you for sharing this wondeful video and info. Let me add, although many of Randa's videos are titled Randa Kamel, the correct name is Kamal. Also she was trained, like Dina, by Raqia Hassan, who used to be at the Egyptian Folklore Troupe Reda, and later became an expert in teaching and choreography of bellydance. Also Samir Serour is the top sax player who turned it from jaz to oriental, a unique version of Halim's song El Touba (means giving-up love).

  • First of all a warm welcome sasguru1 :) thank you very much, and for the information too.

Funny you should say that about the spelling - inviting a few people to the video this afternoon, I found myself "misspelling" Randa as Kamal. It somehow felt more right. I will correct it in the video title.

  • Today is a great day for the classic belly dance, Dinavienna has published a beautiful video Randa Kamel!!!!!

    Congratulations to both

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Beautiful she has captured my heart with her dance and passion. Mashallah Jamila!!!!

  • i like her style as well, her facial expressions are what got me, and she has very professional and natural movements which in my opinion are key. Thanks for the show dina! This dancer Randa should be something to look up to for all those girls learning belly dance.

  • yes, same with me. If you watch Selma's channel (DancingSelma) she has other performances of her with close-ups to the face, in a black costume.

From the minute I watched them I was her fan forever :) It is all in the emotion, and Randa is such a great expressive dancer.

  • Thanks a lot Dina for alerting about this video!!! I don't have the DVD and that encourages me to get it!!!! I LOVE her dancing. So precise and elegant as always. Thanks again!

  • The dvd is really good. Her style is one in a billion, really! Thank you for your nice comment :)

  • Excellent choice and great performance!!!!!

A great belly dance expert as DINA could not make other choice.

Congratulations and best wishes for a long series of videos of great quality!

  • OHHH you are too kind unicornorosso!

Thank you in humbleness to one of the great bellydance uploaders on youtube :)

  • i have a different version of the same song on my hard disk , i can send it to you dina if u want :) ... i like her style of dance unlike someone else's drum solo hehe u know who i am talking about :P

  • yeees I know you're talking about!

Thanks for checking out my video Hasan, I am glad I can finally show something to you guys after enjoying all of your videos - well I heard an interview with Randa, and thought she was speaking Egyptian! Do you think she is not?

Also somewhere I heard of her childhood, and later teenage years in an Egyptian ensemble of dance, but I could be wrong.

  • I read somehwere on youtube that she was born algerian but she moved to Egypt very early... but again that is only from people's comment on youtube. I have no other source ;-)

  • Oh that could of course be! the 1st thing I heard of her was she being in a dance troupe at a pretty early age, probably 14 or so. And that was in Egypt!

  • Wow I love love this performance and I also love how she incorporates some elements of tango in her dance !

  • Oh is she egyptian :) ???

  • Good choice, Dina!!! I also like Randa Kamel, who is a very unique and athletic but still elegant dancer, though! Thanks for posting!

  • wow thanks you for this video what is the name of the song please???

  • Samir Srour - Altoba!

  • So elegant!

  • She is beautiful and her dance is so unique. I love this DVD!! Thank you for posting Dina :)

  • thank YOU Selma :)
