Carmine is a great drummer and educator. His Realistic Rock book is a must have to build a good drumming foundation. Carmine gets knocked alot for saying he was an influence on John Bonham. Bonham himself even admitted that,as well as other that knew him. John Bonham is my favorite drummer of all time but the fact is w/o the songs we might never have come to know some of the great drummers. Great bands and great song lead to world wide fame but you have to produce once you get there.
