did you burn ulaunchelf as in ps2 format or normal data format.. as we do when we burn a ps2 iso to cd we choose ps2 format.. i use alchol 120%. secondly i guess i dont need swap magic as my ps2 is already modded and finally how to make sure that the version of my ps2 is before 2008. thanx in advance

@paramveerindian Please, I have a PS2 modding playlist, and I have a video that shows you how to burn the ulaunchelf ISO. I used imgburn, and the v4.40 disc from sksapps. You got modchip, so no need for swap magic.

Nothing's worked for me regarding this. I have a 77001, tried following: freemcboot .info/ swapmagic.html which didn't work (notice how it doesn't ask to input a disk with swapmagic..just assumes it'll boot off the usb). I tried this video method with both a burned cd and dvd, even with the dvd iso, and all it says is disk not a ps2 disk (tried 3 diff. disks, so not "bad disks" esp. since I use them all the time and nver had probs before). *WHAT* will work to get mcboot2work?

some rare games are hard to find, and some uncommon ones don't always have an nstc copy. and most shops today do not carry ps2 games.
