I use simple green and an air compressor to clean the Revo. There is some spray stuff I found at a motorcycle shop that you spray on before you run your car. When you're done for the day, you simply use an air hose to blow it off. Seems to work pretty good but I forgot what it's called. Thanks for the comments.
I just broke it in and then tuned it properly. It is very reliable. Take it out of the truck, pour fuel in the tank, turn the radio on and start it up and then rip it up. :-) the Traxxas video helps get your Revo tuned up, check it out.
From what I understand the 3.3 is a tough little engine, but when it goes, I am going with an RB 523 for it. But for now the easy start is fine for my wife, I have a Hyper 7 with the RB ws7 and it's very smooth and very fast so the Revo should be right on target.
