3XY -represented big city sophistication to me back then, the sultry female voice whispering " 3 X Y " in the station IDs really did it for me !

Looking at those stickers -I used to love those " 1422 3XY Rocks Melbourne " stickers.. Then they brought out the " 3XY Rocks St Kilda/Prahran/Box Hill " etc.. I had the bloody things stuck everywhere..
