And so as their conductor, I personally chose IKAW LAMANG by Ogie Alcasid, a song that complies with the theme of the competition, "HARANA SA SIYUDAD"....

So if you will really think about it, we did the right thing or else the theme should be

"Harana sa Bario or Nayon"...

Just to clarify what OTHER judges are claiming, the contest piece should be KUNDIMAN and CLASSIC HARANA. But in the mechanics we received from the organizers, I read it many times and it says there that it could be KUNDIMAN, CLASSIC LOVE SONG or "POP LOVE SONG", in Harana Tempo. We discussed this "Harana tempo" issue in our previews meetings and we agreed to reword it to "Harana Style" - sa SIYUDAD.
