  • Can't believe I just found this. I've been missing out.

  • Now I feel lonely **shiver**

  • 1988, already creating god music

  • Absolutely exceptional.

  • When I was a little kid I used to think the past was in black and white since all the movies and shows were like that, and that somehow color was a recent invention. Oh the innocence...

  • @TheGrinninMan It's funny you say that. There was a girl in my highschool who still believed the past was b&w. At 14 years old. In her case it was just stupidity, and not innocence lol

  • Dreamtime Return and Magnificent Void are absolutely mesmerizing.

  • Beautiful atmosphere !

  • I bought this album (Dreamtime Return) when I was 17 (this was in 1989). What it did to my young impressionable mind then was simply mind-expanding in the best possible way imaginable.

One of the greatest compositions of the last two decades of the 20th century.

  • great tune takes me far away from here

  • Great song!

  • Steve roach is great !

  • When I listen to this I feel like I'm living in a movie.

  • Steve's music is truly otherworldly and mesmerizing. This is an extremely depressing, but hauntingly beautiful song. You feel so much sorrow and emptiness, but also a small sense of hope. I especially like the collaborations he does with Robert Rich as well. Great music!

  • Steve Roach is a genius

  • sound deep & wide to touch the universal essence of life

  • Never heard of this fella before and this music is so wondeful..Takes me back to innocence..spiritual and surreal soundscaping..Lovely...

  • essential ambient music

  • I find this stunningly beautiful.

  • you know, I actually have this album on CD. I have several of steve's albums. Words cannot describe the emotions that well up when i listen to his music. Its like I remember all the bad things that have happened in my life, but at the same time I am reminded of all the good things that have happened as well. I cry for the sadness, then laugh with joy.

  • suprising that Roach never really did more works with the piano involved, especially based upon the beauty of this track.

  • This is still the Roach album i come back to the most.

  • cry

  • This is really good!

  • beatiful true...

  • no words.............

  • shadeguy is right - Biosphere is awesome.

I'd like to get hold of these photos! Probably from a stock agency, right?

  • I agree! They are beautiful photos. I wonder where they came from too.

  • Truth, in its purest form can be considered the aristocracy of spirituality and therefore must be sought in all dimensions.

  • "aristocracy of spirituality" - I like that! It ties both ends together quite beautifully.

  • breathtaking..

  • One of his best tracks probably.

  • wow. simply spectacular

  • Deep...thought provoking...sinister...subtle and powerful all at once. This is Steve Roach...with his usual talent to turn music into something else.

  • great music!! perfekt

  • i love this album so much i really enjoy steve's music and im a black guy so dont think we dont listen to this kinda stuff......

  • Hah, that's so funny! Steve is a genius, so is Michael Whalen, but I'd have to say that the Master is Jon Jenkins, whose music is unparalleled by any other artist.

  • never heard of jon but i will check him out. do you recommend anything

  • Also check out the artist Biosphere. Anything off his album Substrata is good.

  • Substrata is one of my fave albums and something i've tripped to a lot, some of those times with Transformers (the original 1980's animated movie) on the TV. syncs up pretty interestingly in places.

  • Try his album Mystic Chords

  • oops - sorry - I thought you were asking about Steve R

  • Love in it's bittersweet moments.

  • thanks for putting these up... it's good contemplation music.

  • Very beautiful indeed. Great music to listen to and relax.

  • Wow! This is so beautiful, so haunting, and yet peaceful. I love it!
