@PassingTheLampPost It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. (That's why I rated it 5 out of 10 - right in the middle.) I mostly talked about the bad things in this video because he was criticizing me for my medium rating of the film (he thinks the film is almost purely awesome), so I was defending my rating.

Holy cow, I think we were at the same prescreening!! xD

Personally, I think VDT is the anit-PC. In PC, I liked the plot changes and hated the way they butchered the characters. Whereas in VDT, I didn't like the plot changes but loooved the character development. I especially liked the "bromance" between Edmund and Caspian and the charming friendship between Reep and Eustace. I love love LOVE how Reep becomes his mentor. And the ending scene at Aslan's country was...GUH. I cried. <3

@Dearheart42 Wow, really? The prescreening I went to was on Monday, November 22nd (at the location shown in the video). That's really encouraging if you were! I was talking with everybody around me while waiting in line, trying to discuss the film and book with them, but everybody I talked to had either read the book years ago and couldn't remember much about it, or hardly knew anything about the movie. I was hoping to run into someone from a Narnia fansite, or at least a serious fan. xD

@aMinotaursJourney Yep, that's the one I went to! Dang, I wish we had bumped into each other! My dad and I got there pretty early and we were more towards the front of the line, so that might have affected things.

I was relieved that they got the Aslan's Country scene so spot on. I was scared the sea serpent battle would feel like the climax of everything instead of Aslan, but I'm happy to say I was proved wrong. I also LOVED how the undragoning became a "baptism by fire". Short, but powerful.

@Dearheart42 Whoa, cool! I got there very early as well (almost an hour and a half early) so I was up near the front of the line too! I was the 6 foot teenager in a dark blue sweatshirt that had a notebook and was scribbling in it the entire time...

You probably heard my dad, though. When they were asking questions after the credits, he was the one in the very back row, who said "Thank you for including the there I have another name line!  I've been waiting for that scene!"

@Dearheart42 Wow, that's a really good way of putting it! Now that I think about it, I agree, I liked the story much more in PC, but the character development was much stronger in VDT. And yes, the ending scene at Aslan's Country was the best scene of the movie. The shot of Reepicheep going over the wave was perfect. :D

Yay for spoilers, great video as usual. I really would have liked to hear you guys sing more, it was hilarious. I cant wait to see the movie on Friday then rant to random people about what i thought of the movie. I hope to hear a full movie rant from you after it's been out. ^_^
