Is it normal for my head to feel like it's about to explode when I'm picking through this song? My one complaint about this book is the lack of guidance on moving around the keyboard. I'm having trouble figuring out which figure to use for which key. (Being 68yo doesn't help either :} )

today i had my first lesson in a music school nearby, and this is what is supposed to be my first piece :D! when i tried to name the notes at the same time, my head exploded!! but thats actually nice - i like to be challenged.

I'm also learning from this book and Cafe' Vienna is driving me mad.

I can play left and right from memory (Having practised it so much) but still can't put both elements together. It is good to hear how it SHOULD sound.

@PianoNoobAlexMan u r right...it took me a month to get blow the man down,and when i finally got it down i was able to learn care veinna down pretty easily =] and scarborough fair too

Blow the man down isn't that hard, I was able to play it slowly within half an hour, and after repeating it a few times I could do it double speed :D just keep trying, I know this post is old but you can do it :D

you play the right notes.. just with no emotions as indicated by the book..

u were supposed to gradually increase volume as your start etc

then u were supposed to slow down at the end ///...ritartando..
