Seen Muse a few times and seeing all three of them completely ripping it makes the song awesome. And the fact the guitar/bass just sound so epic, through out.

I did like it, but taking away the "rock" side of the song took too much.

Well...it's ok, but it lacks a bit of strenght to it, and the vocals sound a little too exaggerated. The bass should be the center of it, and it's pracitcally ignored, after all the song is known for its bass riff. I like it, it's got potential...the video sucks, though.

Ok I have a few things to say about this video: Good Cover, different bass tone etc, clever using guitar as the bass part, and playing it up a fourth.

For those saying she cheated the guitar solo, the video is clearly mimed for the sake of the film clip-this doesnt mean they cant play the parts, alot of artists do this while making film clips.

All in all in my humble opinion they've turned a work of art into a piece of shit pop song, and her accent is sickening. Drums were clever+solid, good.

I liked the instrumental part of this cover, it was pretty much perfect.

Lead guitar solo was kind of anemic.

Singer's voice isn't really good to be honest, she lacks the erm... lungs for it.

You need a certain power to sing properly and she lacks it.

But it's OK, in this day and age we can turn any squeaking moron into a singer god using autotune and computers.

hysteria isnt as hard to play on bass as things like the epic instrumental YYZ by Rush if you know the golden rule (which Kaile probably knows): for the main riff, just KEEP ON PICKING! it makes it a lot easier than just plain going insane.

Honest opinion time: I still like the original more (sorry, but this is my favorite song by my favorite band, my opinion on my favorite version isn't changing, regardless of how amazing you did). However, this is probably the greatest cover I've ever heard, and no, that's not just because this is my favorite song, it's because you genuinely did an absolutely amazing job covering this song! People usually aren't that impressed if you can play your own songs well because they were meant for you to play. However, playing someone else's song well is very, which is why I'm not too crazy about this cover. I love Muse's version and it's hard to beat Matthew Bellamy's voice. Her voice suits the verses well but the chorus was kind of weak and they took out the breakdowns which were the best parts
