Outstanding Team! Nice to know the spirit is still alive. but what happened with the signatures?? Dont listen to any of these guys either! either they cant drill or theyre up in bowling doing this as their job. you guys drill and accomplish AF missions. Fidelity, Precision, Perfection!
Its not a change to the performance.. the signature move was performed at the end of each drill.a line is formed and each member would step out (as they are introduced with hometown SQ etc.)and perform their personal signature. example spinning a rifle with one hand saluting with the other hand, triple wrist breaks, hand over hand etc. the drill team was founded on 4 members different experince and it will grow with the current members experience. change is good but too much can be disasterous.
I know exactly what you're talking about. I was there when all of it started. I read the names. Honestly, it *is* a change to the performance. It's a change to the routine followed by the Drillers.
New people. New ideas. I bet that part will be brought back eventually. I actually hope so.
I am the airman in the middle with the sword, SrA Janove. We did signatures at the end, they just didnt make it to the video, but they were really good.
I meant the USAF Drill Team at Bolling AFB, DC. I can tell their base honor guard by watching their weapon manuals. Anyways keep practicing. Best of luck.
this is not the real usaf honor guard drill team, a little sloppy.

They did a fine job.
Signatures? Does that mean a performance can never change? No one who comes later can interject their own style or knowledge?

No, they are not, specifically. They are proud members of the Kadena Air Base Honor Guard Drill Team on Okinawa, Japan.
Members of the USAF Honor Guard Drill Team are stationed at Bolling AFB in Maryland.
