I love this song, and I think she has a lovely voice, but I have to say, there are a select few who have the range to jump from the verse into the chorus. As an alto I'm not so sure she has the range to sing this song properly. She did well, but the thing that made this song was the fact that ONJ could go from soft and pretty to strong and high within the span of a few seconds. Alaina did what she could with it, but I think it fell a bit short of what it could have been.

She probably did not deserve to be beat out by Amanda Cantunderstandwhatshessaying, but this girl is shouty and oversings everything. In all of her songs, she like some of the other artists, seem to lack a unique personality and devotion to each song.

Even Carly Smithson has been guilty of that throughout the competition, but she's way better than this girl. I'd have to say she was not voted off inappropriately.
