This video is just incredible....really shows what it must have been like back then. Very emotional and touching, I have nothing but the greatest repect for those who flew these missions - Such heroic people.

Any idea where in East Anglia this filming took place? The initial shot looks a little like RAF Glatton, with the church in the background.

Last summer sitting in my home I heard a rumble. I knew it was an aircraft and I knew it was a different kind of aircraft from normal. I looked up in the sky and saw a B17, what a beautiful site. I can't for the life of me imagine what it was truley like to go on those bombing raids over Europe during WWII. So many killed, wounded and captured and watching friends die.
