  • Fuck, this is how domestication started in the first place. "All this has happened before and will happen again."

  • She just wanted a treat

  • i hope someone gets in trouble for this, this is very dangerous.

  • first the treats then i'll steal what you don't want me to have gosh they are so cute

  • Hand feeding wild coyotes teaches them to lose all fear of humans and dogs so that they will hang around your neigbourhood and take your pets and even possibly a small child.

    To keep coyotes away:

    1. Do not feed them, they are wild animals and NOT pets.

    2. Keep your pets inside as much as you can.

    3. Dispose rubbish properly in bins so that a coyote can't access.

    4. Scare off coyotes.

Some handy things people should know to keep coyotes away so they don't like your neighbourhood.

  • Btw, the dumb people in the video are condoning this behavior from coyotes. Can't believe it.

  • I have small children and I'm quite afraid coyotes will attack them. I can literally hear them right in my backyard, no more than 50ft away from my back door. Called MN animal control and they told me It's not legal to shoot, poison, or trap them. Someone explain to me what I'm supposed to do then? Is the state gonna wait til they attack someone before they do something?

  • @66SiK just get over it and keep your stupid kids inside

  • Someone wanna explain this too me? Why is it tht every nite wen I'm chillin with my friends there's this female coyote tht like chills with us like as if it's our dog, I give it treatsand everything idk if somone raised it or wat but it's very nice and friendly I haven't touched it yet tho and I live in Ontario

  • We have a lot of cats and dogs go missing in our area because the coyotes kill them. I had one on my deck in the afternoon. It came and took all the dog toys out to the trees and made it's own pile. I'm not for killing them. I asked fish and game to relocate it but they said it would just be giving our problem to someone else. Sad.

  • Why not trap her, spay & vaccinate her, and take her home before someone shoots her!?!? Ya think?

  • @AnywhereButHere09

    My thoughts exactly!

  • That coyote running in there with his hackles up isn't there to play, this is most likely a territorial thing for the coyote.

  • RABIES !! stupid people.

  • @bigcomcast She's not sick for sure.Just wanted her treat.

  • "Hai!, I heard u haz fud, and I uz REALLY hopings that I r culd git sum?"

"ok, here ya go little coyote"

    "wewt!, kthnx BAI NAO!"

she is so cute, if i was stupid I would love her and hug her and squeeze her

HOWEVER she was/is a wild animal, and I ain't stupid

I would, however love to have a coyote if I ever found a cub abandoned, they're just like having wolf-hybrids, I knew a guy who had three coyotes, they were awesome, I would also love to have a red fox again.

  • Hah I just came for the treat bye now haha :)

  • Here we go! Time for my exspert comment. I think that is very cool! Just gos to show you what a adaptable smart animal the coyote is. Some had to adapt to urban habitat. And done so very well. He says them other k9s are getting food. And there not harming them. So let me in on this treat deal!

  • thats dangerous and your stupid...

  • "give her a treat"

    moron

  • Awwwwwwwww soooooooooo cuteeeeeeeeeee

  • ohhh so nice to the coyote

  • @RSGuide13 - ok I see you didn't understand about the "elevator". Anyway - I've only seen coyotes a handful of times up close... and no I do not interact with them. There is a reason they are wild animals. I don't mess with animals that are not mine... I let them do their own thing.

  • @RSGuide13 - your elevator must not go all the way to the top... you are the one who replied to my comment... I don't have to go anywhere. Also - you just proved you are a hypocrite by saying that you scare them away. That was my original point - they should be scared of ppl and ppl shouldn't be feeding them. Go find something better to clown.

  • @RSGuide13 - run along... and go find a coyote to play with then. "stfu" is trying to intimidate someon... but your mind probably can't understand that... just like you don't understand why persons shouldn't feed predators.

  • for fuck sakes its a coyote who gives a shit, it would eat ur cat if u gave it half a chance and a pack of them would kill ur dog, fucking stupid tree huggers

  • @RSGuide13 - am I supposed to be scared of you? you're an imbecile to make judgements about someone you know nothing about. And I don't have to like it - that's why there are two buttons "like" and "dislike".... got it?

  • Awesome!

  • So awsome. :) I love it.

  • nice Akita :)

  • thats cool pretty coyote :)

  • Wow, this is really cute!

  • @wileyisme you sicken me, people like you shouldnt be here in the u.s., last time i checked, wild animals (including coyotes), were here first. just like winitred000 said, what goes around comes around, and you disgusting hunters shouldnt even be allowed to live in civilized countries. why dont you take your knifes, guns, pelts, etc. and go somewhere where other monsters like you are welcomed. i hope one day karma (or a coyote) bites you in the ass..

  • @ronaldinho80milan1 You are being pretty petty on your views I grew up in civilized city's (if you can call it that) rape, murder, robbery, and yes i can go on. You should be glad I moved on and kill animals for pelts and food, because truthfully if I stilled lived in the city i would take what you have and maybe have let you lived. So , I did the world a service I moved next to like minded killers like myself that enjoy feeding are family by hunting it.

  • @ronaldinho80milan1 O yea the coyote pelts went for 42 bucks a piece, that is 1640 bucks in the bank off coyote, beaver went crappie at 14 bucks bobcat 120 a piece for 3 of them. There is more but you don't care.

  • Awsome video isnt it so nice to enjoy these beautiful animals. Please continue sharing vids like these and just ignore all the animal experts, youtube is full of experts.

  • @slylullaby i totally agree with u. And also ive heard that no matter how much people have tried to get rid of them they only come back stronger. We try and help species that are becoming endangered but when a specie is surviving we want to decide how many there are. Who are we to be so selfish as to kill animals for our own convenience :(

  • @JayHawker751 That sucks we are getting up to $35 bucks a pelt here.

  • really cute video

  • @timo101ful1 lighten up francis -one of these days a wild coyote may save your life....then again maybe it won't

  • is it very common for coyotes to come into the city looking for food?

  • i live in scaborough ontario, 24 years of age and for the first time in my life, twice in a month i saw a coyote..one in a residential area under a highway 401, then while i was on the highway, in a field... ppl always reported sightings but i never witnessed one till those to times this month..and the ones i saw were bigger then than that one..somethign about them being mixed with the eastern wolves....

  • that isnt really good to have a coyote near you especially at night they eat small dogs and will attack you

  • @999933333 They wont attack you. If they come towards you it means they want food. Also... I live in texas, we always have coyotes around us. Just keep the children and small animals inside and you're good.

  • as long as your not small, old, or feeble, coyotes have brains close to dogs, they are logical but in a wild mindset, they have nothing to gain attacking and probably getting hurt itself. same applies to your pet. those dogs are big enough it wont try anything.

  • What city?

  • My coyote do my income tax.

  • This is why Coyotes are not afraid of humans anymore and also why out west they are having an increase of Coyote attacks

  • y didnt u guys just keep the coyote

  • Awwwwwwww,cool! :D

  • thats nice different and nice

  • i would keep a coyote as a pet

  • next thing you know the'll be taking our jobs!

  • @kuwaizair They TOOK OUR JOOOBS!

  • Nova Scotia has recently started a cull on Coyotes. 20$ per pelt.

As a resident of Nova Scotia, I am disgusted. They are only moving into our territory because we have stripped away their land and food resources. It isn't their fault and we are the ones to blame.

  • @slylullaby That is what sucks about being a coyote. No thumbs = You're worth $20 bucks.

  • @slylullaby

indeed. We humans are ungrateful parasites, who have the know how to make beneficial changes but only care for ourselves. Still, its nice to know that there are SOME people with more compassion, or at least enough brain capacity to understand the nessecity of animals like coyotes to nature, and at least try to solve the problem with methods other than guns. Sigh, shooting coyotes and wolves are like cigarettes; only good for a very short term, but cause terrific long term damage.

  • @Wyrmcrush And what city do you live in?

  • @cdamauser1963 Doesent matter, a city of 35k people. I have lived around SouthernCal and they are all over there, all over were I now live--all over the us, canada and into Alaska--all 50 states..hell they are in NYC--people hunt them everywhere here in North America--and their numbers increase--its when they are hunted that they produce more offspring--ask a wildlife biologist

  • @cdamauser1963 - yeah @ least once a year a coyote is captured in NYC.... they have never killed any that I remember. They just take them upstate to the woods and release them. I've seen others (always at night) that I'm sure were never caught. They are very smart. But I'm pretty sure no one feeds them like these ppl do though in this video.

  • @slylullaby No, coyotes are very adaptable. They follow food sources. They are all over north amercia now. they have not left any areas.go to the western U.S. or anywhere else in the U.S.--the coyotes thrive

  • @slylullaby I am also a resident of Nova Scotia, and a member of the SPCA. I am against animal cruelty, be it domestic or wild animals. So a few coyotes have attacked, that does not mean we should kill ALL of them. Not to mention the fact that my husky looks like a coyote, and some idiot may mistake him for one.

  • @slylullaby coyotes are scavengers. i have seen them take live cats, kill baby calves and sheep, and also seen a pack try to lure my dog out to kill, so i dont feel the least bit bad for them

  • @slylullaby i dont think i would be that disgusted if i find a coyote in my back yard i wouldn't think twice about killing it i have two sons ages 6 and 4 a dog two cats and lets not forget my husband or myself my back yard is not its hunting grounds, granted we are going into their territory but im not such a bleeding heart tree hugger that i think the coyote has a right to make a meal out of any of us, i personally be to scared to just hang out like this but cool video

  • @slylullaby They should not have to die because some humans get scared too easily. They have a right to live and more people should start feeding them and maybe they will stop killing house pets who are carelessly left outside.

  • In 1998 a 3yr old child was stalked by a coyote in the Sacramento City city/park area.

I love animals and natural history. But I am not a big fan of Dr. Dolittle.

  • that was nice to watch a coyote... our dog bear is part coyote and she looks almost like a purebred elkhound but her mother looked like a coyote god i miss her...

  • Aw, old man feeding the pigeons in the park. Lol.

  • It always amuses me how people say coyotes are dangerous and point out the extremely rare example of the unfortunate singer who was killed by a couple recently. How many people are killed or bitten by domestcated dogs? Coyotes are generally non confrontational. They are opportunists and can be very hungry so of course watch your small animals.

  • @sts1957 espeshally when we take the only space they live in or hunt them down not all coyotes are bad, ive been attacked by a dog and trust me id prefer that coyote to that dog

  • Cool video! Nice to see that the dogs didn't mind the coyote and vice versa.

  • coyote's can be domesticated.

  • A single healthy well fed coyote poses no threat to big dogs. Coyotes are smart & always take the path of least resistance. If they can steal pet food, beg, raid trash then they won't risk injury trying to kill anything that can defend it's self. I have known several coyotes personally. They can be very friendly (even when full) and they are very family oriented. A pack of hungry coyotes will use a female in heat to lure male dogs out and then ambush them for dinner. A sick coyote is dangerous.

  • yeah but i had a coyote try that with my german shepherds all which weigh over 120 lbs. they killed 5 yotes and drug there bodys back to my yard as trophys

  • Thats sweet :P

  • there is also a Coyote i call him Silver , he comes around the house at 4 am when i am leaving to work and ill give him a piece of chicken or something like that.

  • those dogs were all big they would have been fine

  • Not being mean. If that coyote wanted to it could just attack ur dog and eat it. my friend lost a good huntin dog form those coyotes. And we went out and shot it the next day. So just be smart and watch ur dogs.

  • When they feed a wild coyote like that they also teaching it not be be afraid of humans. Some little kid can be attacked someday.Coyotes are predators they feed it today the coyote will eat your cat or small dog tomorrow.

I hunt coyotes for ranches that have damage from them.

  • you are so right. you never ever feed a coyote or a wolf if you ever get that close as this teaches them to not fear us. what they don't fear today they will learn to hunt tomorrow. how stupid could these people have been. a pack of coyotes just killed a woman singer up in Maine recently. don't feed the coyotes people please!

  • @SavageHmr - well a cat or small dog is fair game for the coyote... but I totally agree that they should keep a natural fear of humans.

  • the animal walking off with the food at the end was a coyote.

  • Those dogs are meeting their long lost relative.

  • That is the same thing i was thinking.

  • That's really awesome!! My parents saw a coyote pup today and it walked right up to them. They were gonna take it home...

Too bad so many people just think of them as dangerous animals we should all be afraid of!!

  • Just because I live in the city doesn't mean i don't know how to act around wild animals God forbid if I posted the video of my old roommate playing chicken with a wild buffalo! I grew up in a cornfield (literally) so I do have the field sense to not feed her directly. My dog, a border collie mix, was smart enough, as me, to give her plenty of open space when we'd play with her so she never felt trapped or in danger. She was an exceptional animal, and we still hope to run into her again.

  • @schmidt311 your not supossed to feed wild animals

  • @schmidt311 - no the problem is that maybe YOU might be comfortable in dealing with a wild animal... but many others wouldn't... then they could react badly and cause the coyote to attack.. then what? Of course the coyote gets killed and then people want to kill all the coyotes. What you all did was irresponsible. This is from someone who loves wildlife and fully agress that we've taken too much habitat. That's why it's MORE important now to establish boundaries.

  • there's this old lady that goes to my park and has a pet coyote named Lucky Coyote and he is really nice! He comes up to me for an ear scratch then leans against me! he is realy cute

  • Everyone calm down. The coyote we lovingly called Wiley has moved on. She lived in an abandoned cemetary that was recently bought and renovated, so she has moved on to greener pastures. It cracks me up reading all the self-proclaimed experts on coyotes telling everyone what to do and how to do it. Truth is, she never lost the ability or desire to hunt, she'd always stop playing to go hunt when she saw a squirrel or rabbit.

  • this is too cool. where is this?

  • Downtown Chicago, by Wrigley Field

  • That coyote was really in chicago? Cool film by the way.

  • @schmidt311 Wrigley field is nowhere near downtown.

  • thats so awesome, the coypte has started living the life of a stray dog, yet a member of those dogs pack.

  • If the coyote wants to leech off my WiFi that's OK.

  • @hojkaqpl, Haha....now that's funny right there :-)

  • awesome, how friendly.

  • Awesome. Kind Coyote! ^_^

  • Mike,

This is pretty cool! See you at the dog park!
