I had never heard of Kristallnacht (U.S. education,ugh)
I went to the St.Louis,MO Art museum and there was this huge sculptor of cut steel and broken glass.The strangest thing happened-i felt like i was being drawn to it and looking into a dark tunnel with a single candle flickering and the thousands of glass shards reflected the candle flame.It only lasted a few seconds but it sure scared me.The artist was Max ? from Germany, the piece was named Kristallnacht.
