Lots of fun. Traveling around town dealing drugs and raking in the cash is addictive. Very good use of the touch screen and varied missions. The game is extremely deep.

I can play GTA on my PSP and Chrono Trigger via. custom firmware. 360 and PS3 have had microphones and everyone doesn't hear what everyone is saying. Rayman Raving Rabbids = SHOVELWARE!!!! Clone Wars looks like shit and I'll stick to Force Unleashed. Using DS as a cookbook or a language learning device = NOT GAMING!!!! Wii motion plus = GIMMICK!!!! I'm definitely glad I sold my Wii and bought a 360. That conference had NO highlights. From the sounds of it, most games are going to end up using the 'more sensetive add on wiimote' and the balance board, so it will mean every wii owner wil have to shell out for more hardware in order to play games. It's like when N64 games needed a memory expansion. Only no-one minded that because N64 games were good.
Tell me at least 5 good games are on the Wii that is not a remake. Meaning, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Mario Party, Wii Sports Resort, Zelda DO NOT COUNT.

I am going to be frank, Brawl is,was, and forever will be a great game by my standerds, however i am a big nintendo fan, so seeing all my favorite charectors come together in one awsome game may have added a nostolga value to the game for me that others may not have experienced. The game is fun (I mean who dosnt like beeting the crap out of things?) + nice soundtrak and good graphics (for nintendo) make for a really enjoyable game. I like Nintendo products, but their whole presentation was boring. "At Nintendo, we like to make people smile" pretty cheesy. Well finally a microphone but does it work with other games?????? I don't want to buy Animal crossing just to get a microphone that doesn't work with other games. I found Wii music interesting but I don't want to buy the balance bored just to be able to play it. My favorite three are Star Wars the clone wars, Wii sports 2 and Wii music I guess:-/
1. The original 2D GTA games didn't suck, they are not as good as the 3D games but they were still good.
2. Just because the DS isn't as powerful as the PSP doesn't mean GTA CW will be 2D. A good example is Transformers for DS, it's a 3D free roaming game.

Nintendo is a good company, but they have their good years and bad years. When the Wii and even the DS were first announced I liked their vision. I liked the look of Wind Waker back when they first showed it off. Nintendo just has this ability to let me down. While they may advance in one area, they usually lack in another.

you're right, the whole show was dumbed down for none gamers and then purhaps the most complex part, the motion Plus, wasn't really explianed very well. All I got from it was that nintendo found a way to geta nother $30 off wii owners with 0 work involved.

Oh and yes, Brawl was a downer. I mean they took what was right about melee and fucked it up! Why did they slow down the gameplay? So that it could focus less on reaction and more on button mashing? In other words, be more appealing to the non-gamers. Plus, they promised to fix the problems of the old physics engine. It's got all the same problems still, all they did was get rid of wave-dashing. All in all, not what I wanted it to be, but still good.
Brawl sucked and was not even remotely good. The only "good" Wii games are Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess,and Metroid Prime 3. EVERY other game you bring up is either:
-Decent at best
-Not exclusive
-Has an identical/better version on a previous Nintendo console.
P.S. Speaking of which, since TP is avaliable on the cube, the Wii really only has Galaxy and MP3. And, I like Halo more than MP3 anyways...So, I bought a Wii to be pissed about Brawl, and play another version of Super Mario 64...
Don't say brawl sucked just because they changed it around, the only reason people give the game bad scores on a site such as gamefaq, is because they don't like the changes and are angry with HAL / Nintendo.

The only Wii games i can think of that I'm remotely (wiimotely?) interested in are Animal Crossing, Pikmin 3, and... I guess that's all since they didn't really announce any games for the hardcore (Reggie thinks Animal Crossing and a crappy DS port of GTA are hardcore).
umm. I find that my highlights was the Animal Crosing and WiiMusic. WiiMusic shows some cool technology that can be real fun but not really used for a high scoring game like Guitar Hero.

well, obviously the most exciting thing about the whole conference was the GTA announcement. And that we would se alot more of hardcore games for our nintendo consoles (as promised) was totally forgotten. This was just a presentation of numbers and more gimmicky stuff to catch that casual gamer audience. BUT just listen to the appluase that GTA gets when they just show the friggin logo, people want hardcore games for the Wii. What about the Conduit, people want to see more of that not COD. C'mon
nintendo use to make good and be innovative games at the same time. Now their just being innovative and forgetting to make good games. Its almost as if they have completely given up competing with microsoft and sony and trying to diversify into a completely new market. Unfortunely this appears to mean selling out gamers. The only good games to come out of nintendo in the past 2 years are titles from existing francises like mario and zelda.

How is Super Mario Galaxy better with a gamecube controller? How the hell can you collect the star bits then? And I find that Mariokart is more fun with the wiimote than with a gamecube controller.

I like Nintendo products, but their whole presentation was boring. "At Nintendo, we like to make people smile" pretty cheesy. Well finally a microphone but does it work with other games?????? I don't want to buy Animal crossing just to get a microphone that doesn't work with other games. I found Wii music interesting but I don't want to buy the balance bored just to be able to play it. My favorite three are Star Wars the clone wars, Wii sports 2 and Wii music I guess:-/

Two things:
1. The original 2D GTA games didn't suck, they are not as good as the 3D games but they were still good.
2. Just because the DS isn't as powerful as the PSP doesn't mean GTA CW will be 2D. A good example is Transformers for DS, it's a 3D free roaming game.

Nintendo is a good company, but they have their good years and bad years. When the Wii and even the DS were first announced I liked their vision. I liked the look of Wind Waker back when they first showed it off. Nintendo just has this ability to let me down. While they may advance in one area, they usually lack in another.

you're right, the whole show was dumbed down for none gamers and then purhaps the most complex part, the motion Plus, wasn't really explianed very well. All I got from it was that nintendo found a way to geta nother $30 off wii owners with 0 work involved.

I didn't see the show, but I think that presentation isn't the important part. The content, though, that's what's important. Of course they are starting to piss me off by appealing to non gamers in their E3 conferences. So I just don't watch them, I'll find out on G4 or the internet anyway

Oh and yes, Brawl was a downer. I mean they took what was right about melee and fucked it up! Why did they slow down the gameplay? So that it could focus less on reaction and more on button mashing? In other words, be more appealing to the non-gamers. Plus, they promised to fix the problems of the old physics engine. It's got all the same problems still, all they did was get rid of wave-dashing. All in all, not what I wanted it to be, but still good.

Brawl sucked and was not even remotely good. The only "good" Wii games are Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess,and Metroid Prime 3. EVERY other game you bring up is either:
-Decent at best
-Not exclusive
-Has an identical/better version on a previous Nintendo console.
P.S. Speaking of which, since TP is avaliable on the cube, the Wii really only has Galaxy and MP3. And, I like Halo more than MP3 anyways...So, I bought a Wii to be pissed about Brawl, and play another version of Super Mario 64...

The only Wii games i can think of that I'm remotely (wiimotely?) interested in are Animal Crossing, Pikmin 3, and... I guess that's all since they didn't really announce any games for the hardcore (Reggie thinks Animal Crossing and a crappy DS port of GTA are hardcore).

umm. I find that my highlights was the Animal Crosing and WiiMusic. WiiMusic shows some cool technology that can be real fun but not really used for a high scoring game like Guitar Hero.
I found that the E3 was to focused on what the Console can do and enough of whta the console does do.

Great 2 star wars games that brag about their less than mediocre vs modes. Did we get information on Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World? Reggie was was BSing us and some of us fell under the spell of rumors they bragged about a snow boarding game and it was not 1080 snow boarding Nintendo is full of crud they didn't take dlc to ssbb they will most likely not appear at any event and even if they do the traditional games will not be shown I support boycotting them

I really think that Nintendo are trying to build a new audience I think by the end of 2009 they will stop doing stuff for the hardcore and abandon everything. And to be honest it is a really good idea because they are not going to win with Sony and Microsoft. No more Heroes is good but it is nothing Compared to Resistance fall of Man.

well, obviously the most exciting thing about the whole conference was the GTA announcement. And that we would se alot more of hardcore games for our nintendo consoles (as promised) was totally forgotten. This was just a presentation of numbers and more gimmicky stuff to catch that casual gamer audience. BUT just listen to the appluase that GTA gets when they just show the friggin logo, people want hardcore games for the Wii. What about the Conduit, people want to see more of that not COD. C'mon

Its almost as if they have completely given up competing with microsoft and sony and trying to diversify into a completely new market. Unfortunely this appears to mean selling out gamers. The only good games to come out of nintendo in the past 2 years are titles from existing francises like mario and zelda.
