I'm a white guy lol and I've been naturally dreading for about two months=D I love my dreads for all the same reasons you do lol please if you would, watch my dread video:)) I only have one video do it won't be hard to find:)
i love my locks because i remember how small they were lmao. my girlfriend is natural too. she jus dont got locks. the natural hair just symbolizes like she says "being who u really are as an individual like God made u." i love the look of them on me. the third reason is they represent patience to me. everytime somethin irratates me timewise i try to think of my locks n how patient i had 2 be in the stages of the dreadlock growth. i love mine though.
@nappyheadedblackgirl yea ur right my gurl tells me all the time she sees progress and sometimes i feel like theyre not but as time goes on n i look back i see wat she was talkin about.
I just watched one of your videos from like a year ago and u said "I have 3 subscribers" and now u got like 300 sumn, includin me now lol. Luvin ya locs
Yea, I hear your point about salons/"locticians". English major, French minor... huh? I'd be curious to know what you have in mind after school. Perhaps teaching? NGO work? Either way, be blessed.
(1) the mental, emotional and spiritual journey; (2) theyre always sexy and I don't put in any effort to make them look nice (freeform is the best); (3) They are a part of my identity
And the savings don't hurt either. I use castile soap and coconut oil and that's about $30-40 annually...max.
I've been allowing my locks to grow from a shaved head since 2008. I love them so much. Where can I go to have someone hook them up and take them to the next level? Do you know anybody? Let me know. By the way, good luck in school. What are you studying?
Where are you located? I'm sure you can find a "loctician" to hook you up. I say "loctician" tongue in cheek because many of them don't know what the hayle they're talking about.
If you've been doing them yourself for this long, why the sudden change? What "next level" do yo wanna get to?
I'm majoring in English with a French minor. Thanks for the words of encouragement!
Girl, beautifulll....You wil not belief it. I took out of my 5 month locs...the reason was. anytime I do my hair in styled. they stretch out and thinner. I thought it's no good if your locks stretch out and become thinner. So I decided to do it over again but thicker....
three reasons I love my locs. I dont have to worry about combing it. I retwist twice a month. I love learning new hair styles with them, I get alot of complements on my locs. My hair grows so much faster with locs. I think locs brings out a womans natural beauty. Locs are so sexy.
Nice video. I love my locs even more the second time around and the experience has been so much better and everything has been so much easier (not that it wasn't the first time but I get to skip the mistakes!).
Your adorable!

that's so true about patience
most people don't make it past a year or two, so when you can look back on years and see where you came from, that's an accomplishment
