i went to a smackdown show in virginia a couple years ago and there was a dark match that involved these 4 guys and it was a cage match and after the match while edge was on the ramp he would do impressions of certain wrestlers as there music would play i think one of them was hulk hogan it was really funny and entertaining

a dark match is when a match that isn't aired in t.v or p.p.v but is taken place at that live event. So i'ts like an incentive for the people who buy tickets to the live events. They get to witness an extra match that (Rock says....) THE MILLIONS don't get to see on t.v. or else everyone would stay at home (or download online) and watch and there wouldn't be that many people buying tickets at live events.

At live shows that don't have a sell out, they close off certain sections of the stadium so that way people have to be bunched together. That way when it is shown on tv, it looks like they had a bigger attendance, and they don't show the empty section.
