I just learned from the Langley Ukulele Orchestra that those ukuleles are Canadian. The man that made them didn't know (or want?) to make curves with wood, so he invented the triangular uke that stands up quite nicely on it's end.

Thanks for posting your teacher's song. My fourth and fifth graders will be able to listen so someone closer to their age. Maybe even write their own lyrics to a song and post it some day.

Very interesting hearing an old favourite of mine with new lyrics. This was the song that really taught me how to play the guitar. It has such a wonderful picking pattern that sounds of so much more.
