my friend's tuned STI ate an M3 for lunch, tied up with an M6 at 280kph but M6 did'nt hold long so he quit. STI is only 1/3 of the price of an M3 and 1/5 of M6. how's that man? plus those bimmer would'nt be able to keep in pace with STI on Snow or Mud.

When you race a rear wheel drive car against an AWD four cylinder, it usually wise to race from a roll. The Subie can win the race in the first 60 ft simply b/c he'll have the most traction. I had two AWD turbo cars (Talon and Eclipse) and they both were not as strong on the top end, and would get beat racing from a roll against cars I would kill if we raced heads up.

uuhhh I don't know if you knew but the 335 uses an inline 6 twin turbocharged engine. it's one of 3 models that bmw has produced with turbocharged engines along with the 335 is the 2002 in the mid 70's and the 740 in the early 80's. so yes they do use turbochargers.
Dont get me wrong, modded STIs are damn quick, I know one running in the 10s over a 1/4mile.
Naturally if you clutch bomb a awd car at 6000rpm, it will pull a better 60ft time then a rwd. But over an 1/8th mile, 1/4mile, on the roll, and on pull off if the STI is not clutch dumped a 335i will own it.
It looks like the BMW lost by a car length. The only reason why the sti would have won was because of the launch. The STI driver had his rpms so high that a couple of more starts like that and he will have his transfer case all over the ground!!!!!

uuhhh I don't know if you knew but the 335 uses an inline 6 twin turbocharged engine. it's one of 3 models that bmw has produced with turbocharged engines along with the 335 is the 2002 in the mid 70's and the 740 in the early 80's. so yes they do use turbochargers.

My 335i did a 13.25 sec 1/4 bone stock.

It could always beat one, stock vs stock.
With a procede its no competition.
Dont get me wrong, modded STIs are damn quick, I know one running in the 10s over a 1/4mile.
Naturally if you clutch bomb a awd car at 6000rpm, it will pull a better 60ft time then a rwd. But over an 1/8th mile, 1/4mile, on the roll, and on pull off if the STI is not clutch dumped a 335i will own it.

It looks like the BMW lost by a car length. The only reason why the sti would have won was because of the launch. The STI driver had his rpms so high that a couple of more starts like that and he will have his transfer case all over the ground!!!!!

Dude if you don't know anything about a car or have never owned it stfu and keep your stupid ass little comments to yourself. I own a 2006 STi and have launched it plenty of times at redline and never had my transfer case "all over the ground". You can't base negative responses about car A just because u like car B.
BTW this and STi you are talking about not an EVO. STi's don't have transfer case problems. I still haven't seen it, heard about it or for that matter even read about it.
