The word for nephilim is often translated in Scripture as "giants". Do a study on that in Scripture, including the original text. There are also comments in this thread which address this topic from the angles you have asked.
@ywisdom Well in the regular Bible it clearly states that the sons of God came down and took women and procreated with them, and had the giants as offspring. It was after this that God sent the flood. This story is in every regular Bible, and if you didn't know about it is probably because you haven't actually read the 66 book Holy Bible you own.

Nephilim means fallen ones from the word "nephal" meaning "fall down" used in this text. Notice also the stature of the idol, whose measurements are 666.

Never said men were angels, however such is certainly used as a reference to angels in Job. In fact, NOWHERE in the OT is the phrase "sons of God" used to refer to men.

@Ainesis3 I am basing my views on the Strong's Concordance brother. In order for the angel theory to take affect, we must assume that sons of God mean Angels, like it does in Job. Context is crucial. I follow the whole context of the Bible, and to say that angels/messangers of God are able to copulate or procreate is not biblical. I made reference to Adam to point out the context of Genesis 6. We can look at sons of God as people from the line of Adam directly and not angels.

The angels didn't become fallen because they were obedient to God's commands. So the fact that procreation outside of marriage is forbidden has no bearing here for these angels were already in rebellion.

Sex is not ONLY about procreation. The assumption that because they are not designed to be married that must mean that they do not have the ability for sex is assumption. There is nothing in Scripture which says this.
When Jesus was raised in His spiritual Body, there was nothing to make it seem like His body was ANY different in appearance than a physical body. Of course, the Scriptures do not go into such detail. But my point is that our spiritual bodies look like our physical bodies.

To say that it's ok to have sex before marriage is not backed in scripture. So what I base my faith on is the consistency in scripture. In the Bible marriage is the will of God. Any "sexual" activity outside of marriage is a sin. God did not create His beings sinful but perfect. Thus no marriage = no sex = no angel sex.

We know that when angels visited the earth, they often appeared as men. There was nothing circumspect about this appearance would which cause one to think they were anything other than men. Otherwise, how is it that we could entertain angels "unawares?"

Genesis 6: 4 (KJV)..... it's there, it happened, i don't know or care much for the book of enoch either but if it's in Genesis to me it happened.... Genesis doesn't refer to them as nephilim, they're giants- the offspring of the Angels and Humans.

Genesis does call them nephilim. That is the Hebrew word which is translated "giants" in that Scripture.

I'm not saying Nebuchadnezzar had a nephilim. He was causing people to worship nephilim by directing worship to the idol.
Nephilim means fallen ones from the word "nephal" meaning "fall down" used in this text. Notice also the stature of the idol, whose measurements are 666.
I would just suggest studying the passage. Like Beyonce, Nebuchadnezzar was channeling worship to the nephilim; he was not a nephilim himself. In the OT idols were in stone, in the NT they are in hearts of men.

He says that was true!! A preacher I like said the Lord made him so talented at the piano he was approached with a million dollar contract and a new car. The Lord gave him the grace to turn it down and thank God he did! Now he makes some of the most blessed and anointed music ever!

I find it very interesting that in order to prove the angel theory, which is just not biblical, people have to look at Gnostic text in order to validate the theory. Study your bible, study the Real history behind the other texts. Ephesians 5:11 "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." @Ainesis3 Be careful brother with this philosophy. I fear that we are taking a word and forming a human conclusion to the meaning. We are not keeping in context with the Bible. Notice. Adam is called a son of God (Luke 4:38) we are called sons of God when we accept Christ (John 1:12) Are we angels? Was Adam an angel? We follow your context then yes, but if we take the word for what it is "Fallen" then it makes sense. We have all fallen short of the grace of God. We must go to the word!

Never said men were angels, however such is certainly used as a reference to angels in Job. In fact, NOWHERE in the OT is the phrase "sons of God" used to refer to men.
You are free to believe what you choose. However, if you truly believe we should appeal to the Scriptures as you say, then study the topic. Just because you are unfamiliar does not mean it is untrue.
Again, either look up the Hebrew word Nephilim in Scripture or discount it. However, it is entirely Scriptural.

@Ainesis3 I am basing my views on the Strong's Concordance brother. In order for the angel theory to take affect, we must assume that sons of God mean Angels, like it does in Job. Context is crucial. I follow the whole context of the Bible, and to say that angels/messangers of God are able to copulate or procreate is not biblical. I made reference to Adam to point out the context of Genesis 6. We can look at sons of God as people from the line of Adam directly and not angels.

Men copulating with women do not result in nephilim. Again, believe what you want, but don't presume that your lack of familiarity about what Scripture says in this matter amounts to truth.
As I said before, in the entire OT, the phrase "sons of God" never refers to men. However, believe as you choose.

The question is not whether you have problems understanding that giants existed. The issue is what does the Bible attribute to their existence.

If we are to break the seventh commandment then yes we can procreate out of wedlock, but that is rebellion against God, but God's system is perfect and unchanging so we can take Mark 12:25 literally as it pertains to the law of God. We also see our special role in Gen 1:26. Satan's envy is because he can't create.

The angels didn't become fallen because they were obedient to God's commands. So the fact that procreation outside of marriage is forbidden has no bearing here for these angels were already in rebellion.
You say, "Satan's envy is because he can't create." That is your perception, but unless something can be confirmed in Scripture, it is just conjecture.

Adultery is intercourse, lusts, etc. anything that is against God, or done out of wedlock. If angels are not given into marriage, then they would have no need to procreate thus the tools needed would not be there. Now, Lucifer can't create. How do are they now able to procreate?

Sex is not ONLY about procreation. The assumption that because they are not designed to be married that must mean that they do not have the ability for sex is assumption. There is nothing in Scripture which says this.
When Jesus was raised in His spiritual Body, there was nothing to make it seem like His body was ANY different in appearance than a physical body. Of course, the Scriptures do not go into such detail. But my point is that our spiritual bodies look like our physical bodies.

@Ainesis3 You are correct, there is adultery. The seventh commandment is an excellent guideline into the will of God, and this is scriptural. To say that it's ok to have sex before marriage is not backed in scripture. So what I base my faith on is the consistency in scripture. In the Bible marriage is the will of God. Any "sexual" activity outside of marriage is a sin. God did not create His beings sinful but perfect. Thus no marriage = no sex = no angel sex.

That is your deduction...but not Scripture. As such, we cannot define truth based on what is simply your understanding.
We know that when angels visited the earth, they often appeared as men. There was nothing circumspect about this appearance would which cause one to think they were anything other than men. Otherwise, how is it that we could entertain angels "unawares?"
In the end, the "how" is irrelevant, for Scriptures state that the Sons of God had children with the daughters of men.

I don't have any answers Bree. What I put in these videos is not my thoughts on the matter, but what God gave me. Nonetheless, over a year ago, I addressed this on the Beyonce article on my blog. I stated that the more Beyonce gives in to Sasha Fiercer, the more Sasha would take over until the two become one. This is what Beyonce has said recently in her interviews on this topic. She has stated that she and Sasha have "merged into one".
