soulstrike56 , I was told they domesticate stingrays by seperating them from their parents which causes them to phase to a "domesticated level". Aparently the same is true about certain sharks. You would not normally be able to pet stingrays in the ocean from what they told me.

That is what the trainer explained to me. You see her in the video after the stingray splashes me. The stingray eggs are taken at birth & hybernated without the parents otherwise the stingrays might sting the people who see them in this pool. This is what was explained to me.

Xmvirus202, I actaully had not known and took a while for the trainer to even see that I was petting their bellies. It was most unexpected when the stingray was splashing around but the weird thing is they loved it and they kept coming to me to pet their bellies instead of the other people who were petting their backs.
