  • @hybridpure24 I got the Crab freeze as my first bboy move and I can hold it like 10 minutes and for the headstand took me like 15 days to get it

  • @kamaks06 the windmilling is easier to learn than headspin because you need the crab/turtle freeze before getting to windmill and to learn the headspin you need to get headstand first which is headstand is much harder than crab freeze :)

  • @4343felix That's strange i always thought that headspins would be easier... It might depend on the person because i got a headstand in like 15 minutes but i can only hold a crab freeze for like 3 seconds... What did you learn first?

    you're supposed to keep your legs as straight and wide as possible, so when you kick, kick by using your thigh muscles. if you try kicking with your feet, you end up bending your legs.

    when your in the freeze try rolling onto your shoulder slowly

    and everytime you try go abit faster, same thing happened to me but not anymore.

    what your doing is probably springing (pushing off) to hard which makes you hit your back instead of rolling :P

    its easy.

    practise is all it needs

    it literally took me two weeks (but the flare takes longer)

    i garuantee yoou will be able to this in 3 weeks max!!!

    keep practising while watching and you will get the hang of it earlier trust me

    ANYBODY can do a windmill :P

  • @YippyYieYo I think he is doing it on carpet. The best place to practice bboy moves are preferably on wood or if you have cement, see if you can find a large piece of cardboard that you can put on the cement and break dance on.

  • @kamaks06 deffinately easier to learn to do a head spin. took me a couple days to be able to do heads spins of ten or more and a week and a half for a windmill

  • @kamaks06 headspins are alot easier. Windmills are relatively easy but alot of people like me have trouble on the restab and take about a month after learning the basics just to learn the restab. Headspins can be perfected in 3 weeks if you practice about 2 hours a day. The best windmill tutorial on YouTube is one by soccer1rocker watch it just type in windmill tutorial on the YouTube search bar it should be one of the first vids up. It helped me and he's a friendly guy so you can can ask him A

  • @1andonlyJosh Go to a children's park where they have the rubber based flooring around the playset. Usually plenty of roof at places like that. Otherwise, maybe get a gym mat if you can afford it and practice outside. :)

  • this video is expertly done as far as tutorial wise, my problem, you do it counterclockwise, and i am a righty lol but what i used this video as, a mirror video so technically that wasnt even a problem at all, so i learned by watching the screen without the mirror basically if that makes sense to some people, so this is the only perfect tutorial for the windmill for me, thnx for the video man.

  • @carl1234514 if your right handed, just copy his video as if it was a mirror infront of you, you dont have to do it CCW if you are a right and feel you should do it CW, i had the same issue your having, so i figured i would throw you a tip, beginner to beginner (if you arent a beginner i apolagyze), hope this helped

    i dont know, does anyone do "Flares" counterclockwise and then do their 6 step or w.e clockwise?

    because i cant even get the leg motion correct when i try windmills, and i cant even backspin going clockwise.

    and i feel like i can flare counterclockwise, but then i freeze with my right hand

  • It bugs me cause I can freeze perfectly and hold it for a long time. Then when I try to windmill I can't get myself to spin 360 or even close. I do like a 180 :-( Any suggestions???

  • Restabing is the harder part for me. I cant get it down. >.< When I go and try to restab I HAVE to stop and use my left foot to stop, and then push off again.

    Uhh any suggestions?

  • @rotarnah Ya that could be difficult at times. But that elbow in your gut...if its on the side then it will be more weight for you to carry

  • I JUST LEANRED HOW TO WINDMILL. AND I LEARNED THAT THE COLLAPSE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE WINDMILL. WEN I COLLAPSE FALL ONTO YOUR SHOULDER. PLUS THE RESTAB
