atleast he is a true defensive midfielder..fast to the ball..aggresive..high motor, closes down opponents and can distribute well..he may not be very big but he is far more combative then deniison will ever be and a lot more mobile then song..

Hey Kasjam you silly mate. What i was saying if we do buy Matuidi, he wont be a flop becasue wenger is the best in the transfer market. And i used Toure as an example i gaurantee you everyone though who is this and 8 years later we make an astonishing profit. sure us fans would like to see him dip into his pocket and i think he might jsut do that this summer. just remember theres still a month left in the market. and by the way you spelt my name right, thank mate.

Why should he? That's not the Arsenal way, we create the players and make money off them, this secures the club long term and helps us pay off our debt much faster than if we were to spend crazy amounts on players.

How can you even think aboit doubting Wengers transfer policy when he just made a £15million profit on Kolo Toure. Even respectable pundits or journalist (if there ever was one) acknowledge that wenger is the best in the transfer market, and i think we should respect him for that. plus i think if we should get matiudi because if viera comes back he would be a perfect mentor for him. we need Huntelaar.

hey guys when he scores watch the fans, it is as if they are all falling down. i know its little but kind of cool. anyway this guy reminds me of viera and if he can follow in his footsteps, espacially now that viera is coming back, maybe he will be a good buy. we still need Hangeland and Huntelaar though then i think we will be good enough to challenge for everything.

arsenal is deffinately running out of options in DM possitions, losing out to philip melo, yaya toure extending his contract, lorik cana signing for sunderland of all places.. realistically we have only this guy and gokhan inler left..

u've all gt valid points.either way its a gamble, what mite be a good style of footy in some leagues may be diff to others, no mater how goodthe player. I feel its time fora risk coz lets face it 2005 since last trophy..even the fucking scum TH have won since then. we need the young flair we already obtain along with the wise, high performance skill of a top DM and striker.everyone jus trust arsene wenger for now coz as we see.. he finds players like nasri,who all seem to do well in the league

Also, dont tell me to control my mouth, i enjoy peoples comments when it comes to Arsenal because everyone is different and everyone has his/her opinion, what i cannot tolerate is people getting personal about the players and manager they know nothing about. Lorik Cana is at the top of my wishlist also but he would cost between £15-20m and that's a gamble not worth taking at this time. Also, what sort of statement would it be to Denilson and Song who in my opinion still have more to come.

Just remember Vieira was unknown when Wenger bought him, Matuidi is highly rated in France and at 22 i think he could be a very good purchase. Wenger does nothing lightly and he has had him watched a hell of a lot last year so if he is keen on him there is a reason behind it.
