IT'S WORKING!!!

I just tried on my LG 32LD465. I used only cell phone, and connected the IR LED to the earphone audio out jack, and play the mp3 sound on the phone.

Worked like a charm, thanks for this! Also, If you have a 3.55mm (headphone jack) to RCA (Red and white cable) you can just touch them to the ends of the LED. Also, you can open a remote, take the batteries out and just touch the red and white to the opened unharmed remotes LED and it will work. Thats what I did, thanks again!

I have the Zenith (LG) Z50PT320 and it works. But there is no selection to activate the USB or hack it... to bad for me its just a usless firmware I guess.

Doskonały sposób i niezawodny na telewizorach LG, na moim LD420 poszło za pierwszym razem. Diodę wyłamałem ze starego pilota z mini wieży, kabelek z jackiem 3,5 akurat miałem. Bez lutowania i innych pierdół, przytrzymałem w ręku i podszedłem do telewizora reszta opisana jest na forach.

It worked on my 22LD350. I connect my pc to my stereo amplifier and then i connect the led in one of the outpout for the speakers (not in headspeaker outpout). In that way i had maximum power to the led and i didn't need to put it near to my tv. It worked from 2m distance!! Se euxaristw file m!! Eisai apaixtos!!

Worked for me as well.

I couldn't get it to work using the audio output of my laptop even with volume turned all the way up. I had to connect the LED to a desktop PC.

Για να λυθούν τυχόν απορίες.Δεν παίζει ρόλο η πολικότητα του led.Μιλάω σχετικά με το που[Ground(-) ή Signal(+)] θα συνδέσετε την Άνοδο(Α) και Κάθοδο(Κ) του led.Αν χρησιμοποιήσετε stereo καλώδιο και όχι mono, δουλεύει και στα 2 κανάλια (left & right).Σημαντικό ρόλο η ισχύς του ήχου.Θα πρέπει η συχνότητα που αναπαράγεται να είναι αρκετά ενισχυμένη.Ακόμη καλό είναι να πλησιάσετε το led πολύ κοντά στο δέκτη της TV, σχεδόν κολλημένο επάνω της.Το equilazer του μέσου αναπαραγωγής να είναι Flat.

Thanks guys it worked like a charm, USB working fine, divx, mkv, everything...

I have truble only becouse a laptop output was to low, so i hade to play that file trough a stereo system with headphone output much louder then a laptop.

το δοκιμαζω σε μια lg lh3000. εχω τοποθετησει διπλα στην tv και ενα κινητο με ανοιχτη την καμερα ωστε να βλεπω εαν αναβει ή οχι το led. Πραγματι αναβει αλλά με οποιοδηποτε συνδυασμο. Ωστοσο το λινκ που δινεις για τους ηχους wav εχουν χρονο 00000. πως θα τους αναπαραγω. συνεχεια σε επαναληψη?

Τέρμα την ένταση δοκίμασε,σε ένα φιλαράκι δεν δούλευε λόγω έντασης το ίδιο καλώδιο που σε εμένα δούλεψε με την μία,αν δεις το βίντεο έχω συνδεμένο τον ήχο του pc σε στερεοφωνικό και εκεί το led για να έχω όση ένταση θέλω.

Φίλε μου δοκίμασε το γυμνό(κοινό καλώδιο και για τα δύο κανάλια ήχου) και με ένα άλλο,αν δεν δουλέψει,δοκίμασε το επόμενο.Και να μην ξεχάσω την ένταση όσο πιο δυνατά μπορείς.

Εμένα είχε ένα γυμνό καλώδιο και δύο μονωμένα,ο συνδυασμός ήταν το γυμνό με ένα από τα μονωμένα(το οποίο το βρήκα τυχαία μετά από δοκιμή),δοκιμασε τους συνδυασμούς μη φοβάσαι δεν πρόκειται να χαλάσει τίποτα.Είναι αρκετά απλό.

Ok i have the cable but there are 2 wires on the one side and 2 on the other. What should i do ? how to connect the led?

I've tried both the combinations on the ir connection,the second one worked.

Its really easy.Just try it.

Try to play the sound close to your tv ir "eye" and turn the sound level loud.

@Stexman2 Every cable for headphones has 2 wires. Each wire has 2 wires by itself. So you pick one of the the 2 wires, and that wire will separate in two wires(you'll see that there are 2 inside insulated by cable) afterward you turn on the music and that is all.
