  • They say a tornado sounds like a freight train, well God damn!

  • why didnt the other train leave with yah

  • daar gaat machinist zich terug trekken.

  • @gertgertgert18 van de trein waar camara man op staat om veiligheidsredenen.

  • 1:00 "what'ev I done" lol he started the tornado

  • run forest run!

  • Should've coupled up to the switcher and then gotten the heck outta there.

  • did it really hit the power plant

  • wmf..... wooooow.... go go go go

  • @eghtime Seriously if you want to be humorous then actually say something not retarded, saying DUHH, I WOULD DEFINATELY THROW A BIG BRICK AT IT, I would hope that it would ricochet and hit you brain damaged head, anyway, I think YOU should try to get a sense of humor, and go and get a helmet while your at. It retard, your gonna need it when your brick ricochets..

  • the yellow train at the beginning (i think its called a switcher) didnt the tornado run over it

  • @BTCRAIL101FILMS oh so you like cussing dont you and get some sense of humor

  • What Happened To The Guys In The Switcher?

  • @eghtime why....you some dumbass retard?

  • @eghtime That's a great way to get arrested & injure the crew aboard it. What a dumb comment. They honk for a reaseon at railroad crossings. Come think before you post dumb comments

  • @eghtime

really. in the middle of a tornado?! really!!!???

  • can a train be lifted by a tornado?

  • @Dprill95= I heard stories of it happening. I know thay can lift semi trucks and turn them into missiles.

  • @Dprill95 Probably not, aroung 2,000 tons...

  • Was This Train a BNSF Train?

  • @acmurphy2009 Elgin, Joliet and Eastern RR.

  • @acmurphy2009 yeah, i think so

  • I always hear that a tornado sounds like a fright train roaring nearby, so that was a bit confusing for me.

  • at 1:39 theres all blue by the trees on the left.

  • @WestBrickstonFire37 Those are probably power line transformers blowing up.

  • @1john1992 It's a power flash major powerflash

  • train:DRIVER GET ME OUT OF HERE I WANNA SURVIVE

    tornado:MUAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I think this tornado means business......

  • do all american train driver acsesivly use the horn ?

  • @modelrailwayCORP It's called blowing the horn for a crossing and warning people. See US railroad weren't design like UK's where they are fence off and with very little crossings (which we have lots of). Course US trains have to blow their horns alot because we have a lot of idiots who are to dumb/don't pay attention to see a 200 ton locomotive/train coming at them even with lights/bells/gates at a crossings. Plus we have horn signals engineers have to do by law for reasons. Like crossings.

  • "I know i'm gettin' the he** outta here!"

    i'm with ya brother

  • How come the dudes in the yellow loco. did'nt bail out ?

  • @justanotherengine actually the guy holding the camera was them

  • to bad to run out of gas now:D

  • could the train be going any slower? i mean seriously, your going away from a train at like 20 MPH. that seems smart to me!

  • @lilsaint94DW remember it weighs 200 tons. takes a lot to move.

  • @flippy941 True, But still. Im deffinate it could have gone faster.

  • @lilsaint94DW yup

  • Just wondering, what would be the proper procedure there? did you have to get permission from the dispatcher or was it more like, screw it! We're backing up!.

  • They need to make a tv show called train chasers!

  • @rslaser91 ....... Train chasers would be AWESOME!! you should submit that to TLC or National Geographic!

  • funny video , this cracks us up! "Look Look it's hitn everything! " " I know i'm gettin the H*#!! out of here! "

  • Comment removed

  • train vs tornado tornado wins

  • A tornado that sounds like a freight train. It even has a horn. Multiple vortices = bad news.

  • that's gotta be scary as fuck

  • :Check it out man its hiting EVERYTHING! :I KNOW IM GETTING THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!! !!WIN!!

  • Dang, what happened to that UP switcher at the beginning? Did it get caught in the tornado?

  • Tornado says: I will cross now, so take your time, don't risk it!

Train says: I'm heavier than u so i'll take my chance of crossing. Right now it's 50-50 chances ! It will be only one champion. I'm gonna sing now: Lift me up, lift me up

    Higher now ama !

  • *Train Honks Horn*

    *Other Train Goes Backward*

    Train:I GOT THE MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • *Train honks horn*

    Lightning strikes...

What the tornado ment by the strike was "SHUT THE FUCK UP, IM TRYING TO SLEEP"

  • Looks like "I like trains" doesnt work for tornados

  • Is That A MP15AC?

  • whats happend to the up switcher i sall people inside it

  • Is this guy on oxygen I keep hearing Darth Vader breathing in the background

  • REATREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wut happened to the train on the left? Is the driver riding on ur train?

Was that mini-yard completely destroyed later?

  • @N5505KD How the hell are we supposed to know? If I were all-knowing, I'd be ruling your ass.

  • @itm426 In what?

  • love how he is just laying on the horn the whole damn way....

  • How'd you like to be the dude in the other train? haha.

  • tornado: do you want to be my friend?

train: no youre gonna kill me

    tornado: wait come back! noooo

    train: go away!

tornado: why do people always get scared of me? (sobs)

  • "I know, I'm getting the hell outa here!" Classic movie line, gotta love it

  • @Nelsa123 classic american line

  • Train horns = get the hell out of my way, I got a tornado on my ass !

  • What happened to that UP switcher?

  • thats the tornado preparedness that trains have?! "ooh, strange clouds...... ooh tornado... ...hey is it getting bigger? no it's... ....AHHH RUN AWAY!!!"

  • @LICKETYSPLITALNG lol its just a comment i say and fixed it

  • @shooting4fun He was moving AWAY from the tornado. Did you watch the video as the train moved?

  • @shooting4fun Huh? He moved his train away from the storm. Just how trained are you?

  • it really wants the train lol :L

  • click this video for some clouds and a horn

  • Tornados and trains. My two favorite things.

  • @imlegallyretarded yup... Ur screwed

  • WOW WHO CARES KICK IT INTO INDEPENDECE

  • I somewhat miss tornadoes, but then again. . .

  • @bloo96 "..miss them" ???? I been in 3...and pray I never see a 4th...belive me if you've ever been close to one they definately won't miss you!

  • @Maxharddrive64

Thus why I said somewhat, when I was living in South Dakota I lived through two. Actually being in one was never fun, but chasing them was a different story.

  • @bloo96 Why on God's earth would you miss tornadoes

  • @PeachykeenLNG

Use to chase 'em when I lived in South Dakota.

  • @bloo96 Oh OK. Yes I can see how that might be fun. What does that even feel like?? Don't you have to try the entire time not to shit your pants?? My legs would probably stop working too.

  • @PeachykeenLNG It's scary at first, but after your third (well at least for me anyway) you start enjoying it lol.

I miss the rush of the chase, I DON'T however miss the destruction of lives and property that they can afflict.

I saw the aftermath of the twister that took out Spencer South Dakota, that hit me hard and close to home. I actually think I took the rest of the season off after seeing that disaster.

  • the flashes were High Voltage Power Towers on I-57 Richton Park-Chicago Heights getting destroyed like legos.I need to find the pics but one minute you seen endless rows of them the next there was nothing.knocked all over the interstate like toys.

  • I don't care if your in a locomotive or on a bike it's called "Fight or flight" mode.

  • Can you relax with the horn already?

  • @petemossinc hes blowing the horn to warn any traffic or trains behind him, you know just how dangerous taking a large consist in reverse can be? everything from panicked traffic crossing the tracks to avoid the twister, to other trains running on the same track have to be taken into consideration

  • @petemossinc hes blowing the horn to warn any traffic or trains behind him, you know just how dangerous taking a large consist in reverse can be? everything from panicked traffic crossing the tracks to avoid the twister, to other trains running on the same track have to be taken into considerationi think the shunter was empty

  • what happened to the shunter train?!!??!? did he die?!?!

  • @evolover999 i think the shunter was empty

  • @rhino2960 no it wasnt look at 0:12 you can se a guy move in it...i hope he got out in time

  • when air bender was beaten by metal bender

  • I hope the engineer in the Union Pacific switcher was alright. I once read an account of the 1889 Johnstown Pennsylvania flood where a steam locomotive engineer saw the water coming down hill from the broken dam & tooted his locomotive's whistle to get people's attention.

  • wow beat that was fun lol

  • When the train starts honking, I imagined it saying: "Come at me bitches!"

  • @funnykittenz1 no no it say's: "wanna piece of me bitch?" =))))

  • 258 people are tornado chasers.

  • i dont see tornado, what i see is just a lighting?

  • @SuperAvailable123 Those are flashes from power lines or transformers. Those flashes are a common way to identify a (probable) tornado in poor visibility.

  • what rail company are the locos from

  • Incidentally, just because you don't see the condensation funnel reaching the ground doesn't mean the tornado itself has lifted off the ground. By definition the tornado is the rapidly rotating column of air on the ground, not the cloud. As long as the rotating wind is contacting the ground, it's a tornado.

  • I realize that he was blowing the horn for the grade crossings, but it use to be - perhaps still is, a general rule for distress to blow the horn/whistle in a line of succession toots to alarm those in ear shot of impending trouble.

  • the add was glade relaxing moments. :)

  • the train had flashing lights to tell the tornado to head the other way...:)

  • You know the shit is hitting the fan when trains run lol

  • was that water dripping from the engine??

  • @THXMARS Mute button, ear plugs, move away. This is the stuff people need to acknowledge.

  • @rcrocker02 I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!

  • @THXMARS The police cannot do anything. It is a FRA (Federal Railroad Administration) regulation and NTSB (National Transpoertation Safety Board) law. Thousands of people die at rail crossings every year because engineers fail to blow the horn. Maybe you should appreciate that before it kills you or a loved one. You cant touch the railroad with the police. Railroads have alot more power than you think. If it is not marked as a no horn zone, you cant do nothin about it so stop bitchin.

  • @nsrailfann4life91 What the F**K are you talking about. Thousands of people die at crossings every year due to the engineer not blowing the horn? Thousands? Huh?

Man, if you are truly a railfan you should stop making up statistics that harm the very industry to proclaim to be a fan of.

  • @Boss302fan Maybe you misunderstood what I was getting at. When I say "Fail to blow the horn" I mean in terms of silent zones or the fact that engineers may be talking to dispatch when approaching a crossing which may cause them not to blow soon enough. You should use your manners. Most rr crossing fatalities are due to careless individuals and drivers. Chill out. In silent zones, engineers are not required to bloq the horn and are actually instructed not to blow at silent zones.

  • @nsrailfann4life91 Your words were "Thousands of people die at rail crossings every year because engineers fail to blow the horn". Now how did I misunderstood that?

Silent zones are statistically safer than the standard crossings where engineers blow.

    Chill out? LOL.

When you put together a post that is not incredibly wrong and attacking the industry and those I work with I will "chill out". As a railfan why not support the industry instead of publishing trash comments?

  • @Boss302fan Pardon me. I DO support the industry. Half of my ancestors worked for the railroad. It's not bashing the industry, Your making this alot more serious and now putting words in my mouth. Statistically. That is a nationally based statistic. There have been 7 Train Vs Car collisions in my neighborhood ever since the silent zones have been placed. Around here, those statistics dont apply to one place. I plan on working for the railroad. It was a simple misuage of words on my part so chill

  • @nsrailfann4life91 from your words no once can tell you are doing anything other than attacking the industryl. Thousands die? And yes, nationally and world wide based no blow crossings have fewer accidents.

If you plan on a rail career start off by learning the facts and then try to speak positively about it rather than spouting off without the facts. We need young people entering the industry. If you are serious about it, study it and come in with a positive outlook. Good luck.

  • @Boss302fan I understand what you are saying and apologize for jumping the gun, but it happens sometimes. We all word things wrong sometimes. Thank you.

  • SO... ALL OF YOU WHO BITCH ABOUT THE TRAIN BLOWING HIS HORN A LOT IN THE VIDEO..... IM GUESSING YOU WOULDNT WANT SOMETHING TO ALERT YOU OF A BIG FUCKIN TORNADO ABOUT TO COME KILL YOUR STUPID ASS? hmm...oh well..one less dumbass in the world then. as far as other times... kinda smart to blow at crossings when so many people ignore everything that tells them not to cross the track anyways.. and end up getting hit by a train. then the ones that live are dumb enough to say they didnt see it

  • @THXMARS faggot

  • @THXMARS Its the god damn law you dumbass. They'd rather be safe instead of killing someone and having to live with that for the rest of their lives. They're not going to stop just cause you want your beauty sleep.

  • @PRRK4Lover Its the law for where on the track? i would like to know this. Since Im unfamiliar with the law regarding where trains are required to blast their horns could you please inform us or point us to a location where I can find this info? Thanks!

  • @doubleg137 The engineers are alowed to blast the horn anywhere they want unless ordered otherwise. Some towns have passed acts that require the trains to not blast horns, but if someone is hit, it is not the RR or the engineers fault. In this video the engineer blasted at the road crossing right after he began to move away from the tornado and at the road crossing right after the small yard/storage tracks. Also blasting it because he was moving to get away from the tornado, the horn alerted...

  • @PRRK4Lover When the engineer is "alowed" to blast their horn is strictly covered by the operating rules of the railroad they work for. They are not "alowed" to blast anywhere they want.

  • @doubleg137 ... any other activity on the rails ahead because he was moving due to the fact that the tornado was heading their way (I dont think any crew is going to wait for yard orders to move from a tornado.

For information on the laws requiring horns, look up "FRA horn regulations" into google and the first hyperlink will provide you with the information.

  • @PRRK4Lover Thank you very much! I will do so!

  • @THXMARS go to hell troll they blow it to be safe

  • @THXMARS IKR!!! they are just not happy because we get some sleep and they dont

  • @THXMARS

    -lmfao! Funny ass shit

  • OMG that felted like a suspense movie XD

  • The train is going mighty slow

  • @jameld55 In terms of acceleration, locomotives are not top fuel dragsters.

  • I know im gettin the hell outta here!! hahaha!!

    oh that was awsome!

  • Yeah I know I'm gettin the hell outta here!!"

I believe I heard him hit notch 8 somewhere in there..

  • the train is slow

  • Train:I think I can I think I can...OH CRAP A TWISTER!!!!

  • If in doubt, hit the gas and get the hell outta there!

  • can someone help me find the tornado? i dont see it

  • @CalebGoGrangers Tornadoes aren't always visible all the time. Many are invisible until they touchdown and begin to throw up debris. Many appear, then dissapear repeatedly. Some are "rain wrapped".Hidden in a rainstorm.

  • Yea go train

  • "I know Im gettin the hell outta here!" hahahaha!
