Well sunrise did announce they will be animating Gundam the Origin which is basically a retelling of the original Mobile Suit Gundam with a few differences such as the White Base reaching Jaburo and then going to Odessa. Now we have yet to learn whether this will be an OVA, Movie trilogy, or TV series.
Gundam 00 Raiser or 00 Quanta can beat all other gundams that are not in the 00 series because the GN Drive enables them to have infinite amount of energy unlike the other older gundams which require a recharge. GN Drive also gives them trans am super speed so yea.... it's clear that Setsuna's gundam can pwn all.
Solid ammo can't damage its armor, beam weapons are deflected by its I-field, it can warp its attacks, even straight into a cockpit, max beam rifle power is more than a colony laser, 100% moonlight butterfly can destroy all technology form Earth to Jupiter, it has a teleportation and complete regeneration system, including the pilot (although it takes thousands of years for regeneration from almost nothing). There's a few other things, although this is the main stuff.
Shit was made overpowered to have it stop powerlevel disputes. Sadly, it doesn't help much, and people would still bitch about who's second best anyways.
@iExD Turn-X is pretty damn close, although an image for a Mass-Produced Devil/Dark Gundam (the evil one you were talking about) have come up and it looks a bit like the Turn X. Dunno what to make of this.
We could go with that theory that the Turn-X is the result of thousands of years of Zaku evolution, the Zaku finally getting TWO eyes.

This means it can disappear and reappear at will, can swing a beam sabre that extends from Earth to Mars, has a beam cannon that can essentially destroy whole sections of the asteroid belt and it has TRANS-AM on top of all that. 00 Qan-T can stay outside of Turn-A's Moonlight Butterfly range.
@DxGst And a world-wide reaching nanomachine cloud is realistic? Before anyone says anything, Turn-A is a masterpiece, and one of the greatest animes ever made. But of course, Turn-A would become rather weakened should it be 00 ELS-Qan-T, because the nanomachines wouldn't be able to affect it. (It's organic instead of mechanical).

Turn -A and 00 Qan-T are, in effect, the two most powerful, destructive Gundams ever created, far beyond the GP-02, the Hi-Nu and even the Unicorn. Realism aside, Gundams wouldn't even exist if something like the Minovsky particle wasn't discovered. All space battles would be planet to colony, no fighting in between by any humans.

Ok, i get that the RX-87-2 was the first Gundam, and i get that it was a smash hit, but why do they always try to showcase it like it's the most powerful? @crazyhalofan96 Yeah you are entitled to your opinion, to me Amuro is the Chuck Norris of Gundam. And in all fairness, The Ex-S is probably the most powerful Gundam ever devised, but my favorite is the Destiny because the Master Grade model is my favorite model to look at. My favorite pilot is Johnny Ridden; He had a higher kill count than any other pilot (including Amuro!) during the One Year War, had an awesome paint scheme, Defeated the Full Armor Gundam and is an all around great character.

Amuro was only a good pilot because he was a Newtype, that being said Anavel Gato, Shiro Amada, Kou Uraki and even Banagher Links are more capable pilots than Amuro because none of them are Newtypes. They were amazing pilots off of pure skill rather than some "evolution" ability giving them their strength

Plu s you have to take in to account that Amuro is a very weak newtype compared to most other newtype pilots. Statistically speaking the best pilot in UC is definitely Breniff Oguz. During the OYW he downed 193 MS and sunk 8 ships!

But even if Amuro was a weak Newtype a lot of his "skill" can be attributed to Gundam and his mobile suits, Gundam learned how to fight an opponent so after fighting Char once with Gundam's help he stood on equal footing with Char, Nu Gundam had the psycho frame installed which with the help of ones will the mobile suit strength increased exponentially. but when he was piloting the Dijeh and Re-Gz he really wasn't a good pilot.
@Akiraofthewind but he was a sufficient pilot while using the rick dias. And when he fended off the Asshimar using a civilian aircraft. I'm not saying he's the most skilled pilot to ever grace an MS cockpit, but for a gundam pilot he's very good.
I get the chills whenever I watch this. It's simply THAT epic. I find it funny how they don't consider Astray an independent series. I suppose it ties into SEED, but then again, so do other series, like 08th MS Team.
Now I wonder who's piloting that Core Fighter...I guess Amuro is the one and only RX-78-2 pilot, but he's also the one and only Nu Gundam pilot. Paradox? xD

Ok, i get that the RX-87-2 was the first Gundam, and i get that it was a smash hit, but why do they always try to showcase it like it's the most powerful? (No hate intended) any of the new ones would literally destroy the RX, the Freedom, Justice, hell even the Strike would win in a fight against it, not to mention wing zero and it's variants. And again am meant no offense to any one all am saying is that there are better Gundams out there in my opinion.

All am saying is that although the RX-78 2 was the first one, and that it broke the ice in terms of getting people to know about gundams, in my opinion most gundams are better than the RX-78-2. 'cause the white doll is not exactly in my definition of a gundam >.>

At no point in this video does it even imply for a second that the RX-78-2 is the most powerful, it is simply the original and most symbolic. PS: No Gundam could stand a chance against the RX-78 simply because it is piloted by Amuro Ray! I bet Amuro could beat any Gundam, maybe even the Es-X, with nothing but an RB-79 Ball armed with a BB gun. no joke.

@PaceBreaker23 Lol, i see your point, and to tell you the truth i kind of like th RX, but in my humble opinion there are better pilots and gundams for example Kira and the freedom, Heero and wing zero, Athurin and the Justice. And again, this is just my opinion these are not facts on my end of the conversation or yours. No disrespect intended, as a gundam fan myself i can understand how passionate these arguments can get XD.

@crazyhalofan96 Yeah you are entitled to your opinion, to me Amuro is the Chuck Norris of Gundam. And in all fairness, The Ex-S is probably the most powerful Gundam ever devised, but my favorite is the Destiny because the Master Grade model is my favorite model to look at. My favorite pilot is Johnny Ridden; He had a higher kill count than any other pilot (including Amuro!) during the One Year War, had an awesome paint scheme, Defeated the Full Armor Gundam and is an all around great character.

@crazyhalofan96 Haha yeah, Shinn is one of my fav SEED characters just because he's so Bad-shit Crazy when he goes seed, I find it entertaining :P. And how about Yzak? He defeated two extendeds(AKA "druggies" as the community calls them) single handedly in an out-dated Gundam! I just like how he started as a complete loser and turned into one of the most epic pilots ever at the end of the season :D

Especially if they fought each other like in Gundam Musou, That'd be crazy, especially if they have the same quality of combat choreography as Gundam Unicorn cuz those fight scenes give me goose bumps every time I watch them!

@PaceBreaker23 I don't diagree with your arguement that they are not trying to portray RX-78-2 as the most powerful, I do disagree with your statement about Amuro being the most powerful pilot. Amuro was only a good pilot because he was a Newtype, that being said Anavel Gato, Shiro Amada, Kou Uraki and even Banagher Links are more capable pilots than Amuro because none of them are Newtypes. They were amazing pilots off of pure skill rather than some "evolution" ability giving them their strength

@Akiraofthewind You make a driving argument, except for the fact that Banager Links is in fact a newtype. Plu s you have to take in to account that Amuro is a very weak newtype compared to most other newtype pilots. Statistically speaking the best pilot in UC is definitely Breniff Oguz. During the OYW he downed 193 MS and sunk 8 ships!

@PaceBreaker23 I did not know Banagher was a new type... But even if Amuro was a weak Newtype a lot of his "skill" can be attributed to Gundam and his mobile suits, Gundam learned how to fight an opponent so after fighting Char once with Gundam's help he stood on equal footing with Char, Nu Gundam had the psycho frame installed which with the help of ones will the mobile suit strength increased exponentially. but when he was piloting the Dijeh and Re-Gz he really wasn't a good pilot.

I get the chills whenever I watch this. It's simply THAT epic. I find it funny how they don't consider Astray an independent series. I suppose it ties into SEED, but then again, so do other series, like 08th MS Team.
